If you were in my world, you could probably wield a spell or two with diligent practice. Many are innately capable of it to some degree. [ even a meathead like him, honestly. as for the other thing, though, ] Crests, meanwhile, are blessings you are born into. They're rare, usually passed down and cultivated through noble lineage... they grant great power, and end up as symbols of the ruling class. Ah, but—mine doesn't seem to have any effect here. I assume your alchemy is similarly absent.
