Good game to pass the time. Basically, we deal and split the deck - five cards to each of us, and the rest we take turns drawing from. The goal is to get a pair of every card you have. so you can put them down in a pile together. When it's your turn, you can ask "got any twos?" for example -- if the other player has it, they give it to you. If they don't, they say "go fish".

This goes on until one player has gotten rid of all their cards. That's the winner.
