Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place. Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck. |

What were the books about?
[THREE INTEREST FACTS? GOD.]
I own a cow. I've died before. I have trained a dragon-bat.
no subject
[Maybe she shouldn't talk about romance to a ten year old. Hm. Anyway. Moving on!]
...a dragon bat? [She's interested! ...but she can't help but look concerned at the knowledge that he's died before. Probably from where he was before here. What kind of asshole would kill a kid, wow.] What did you train it to do?
no subject
He was... [Hm. He glances down and away for a moment, frowning.] He was one of a clan of dragon-bat guardians protecting a scepter.
...
I killed his family, but spared him when he would not fight me. I took him back to my mother as a souvenir, but have since freed him of any kind of servitude.

[Hey uhhhh Anna what the fuck? I thought Batman was about fighting crime in Gotham??]
Are the two of you friends now?
no subject
...Yes. His name is Goliath. He's a fine companion. Very loyal. A little stupid.
no subject
...I am glad to hear that.

Who inspires you to be better?
no subject
[hm.]
Must I pick only one person?

[flayn smiles]
My father, my mother, the Professor, Dimitri, Yin Yu, Lili, many of my classmates, my class leader from home...
[she's going to keep going if he doesn't stop her. please stop her.]
no subject
Flayn. [He's exhausted.] That will suffice.
It is your turn again, unless you wish to elaborate.
no subject
[Just know that she greatly admires a lot of the people around her, okay! They all inspire her to be better! Anyway.]
What is something that you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
no subject
Have a cat for a pet. There is no greater amusement than allowing a feline to let you believe you are its master.
no subject
Ah - cats are very cute. [...] Speaking of, how is Pennyworth doing? And... ah, Felix, was it?
no subject
Pennyworth is fine. He is likely being accosted by Wei as we speak. [Please, someone save Pennyworth from Wei Wuxian.] Felix, yes. [Rooster Fraldarius.]
He is with the chickens. There will perhaps be chicks hatching sometime soon.
no subject
Oh! Is he starting a family?
no subject
He is a rooster. There is no sentimental choice in starting a family, only the instinct to fertilize the eggs. [WHY IS HE SUCH A BUZZKILL] But there are two hens, so essentially...
There should be some eggs which will hatch into baby chicks.
no subject
Baby chicks are so cute... I hope I will be able to see them!
[Meanwhile I, Britt, hopes someone murders Flayn in cold blood before she can.]
no subject
It's because they activate your maternal instincts, and the pleasure centers of the brain.
[he will never admit he thinks they are sooo cute]

...]
Yours, not mine.
no subject
[
also they would be paternal, in his case.]
no subject
I am not so easily swayed by baby anythings.
no subject
Is that so? What are you swayed by, then?
[He must have something he likes...]
no subject
Nothing. [Is what he says at first, almost immediately. But then he amends:] ...Fighting.
