POPULATION: 22 Rise and shine, Camp Gatonina. With yesterday's announcement weighting on your mind, you are left to your own devices for the entirety of the morning. And by entirety, we mean entirely. There’s no 7:00 AM bugle call, no breakfast to be served, and those who have an appetite will have to fend for themselves this morning. The sky continues to reflect that eerie pink color, and silence stretches out over the campgrounds. As they walk through camp, they will notice that it seems to be — crumbling? Literally. Large cracks run down the cabins and the ground. Pieces of snow and dirt hang suspended in the air. For whatever reason, it feels a little harder to breathe. It is not until 12:00 PM that something changes. Coming as a surprise to none, given your past experiences, your body will move of its own accord towards the Mess Hall. You are powerless to resist. There’s no table here today , though the enclosed bulletin board hangs on the wall in its usual spot. Every time the door opens to let another camper in, the sounds of a storm brewing echo in the distance as flurries of snow drift inside. There are tables and chairs set out, along with place settings for 41 people. On the back wall, a banner hangs overhead, and directly before it sits a large, multi-tiered birthday cake. Should anyone attempt to approach this cake, they will find there appears to be an invisible barrier around it! Huh. How strange… ...but as soon as the last guest arrives, the doors to the Mess Hall will close. Silence filters through the room, but soon everyone will hear the soft pitter-pattering hop of three bunnies. Dressed in only their small detective hats, the black kitten follows after them quickly as the quartet take their place at the front by the bulletin board. They wait for everyone’s attention before they squeak in unison, dragging a tablet out from under a tablet to set before them. Together, they begin to touch the screen with their little paws and a voice speaks up. ”Tree. Fishing pole. White house. Multilevel house. Partying face. Birthday cake.” ...that’s very helpful, isn’t it? Perhaps now is the time to work together and decide where to go next. - - - Hello, everyone, and welcome to...whatever this is! We'll go over a few notes briefly as we will be playing your endgame event a bit differently than other games. Please see the toplevels in this post for more information. In order to ensure that everyone has a chance to hop in, and to help streamline the first half of the day, we ask that you split yourselves up into groups of two. The #investigation-coordination channel is available to help you find partners and organize yourselves. Once you have your groups, please reply to the appropriate subtl with a list of who forms part of your group. The mods will provide information regarding what, exactly, is their prompt and what challenges await them. Once you've received your flavortext, please create a subtl under this top level to start threading, and upon finishing your objective please reply to your assignment for more information. We ask that these threads be finished no later than 4pm EST/1pm PST! We will be working closely with all players, so please be sure to watch the trial channel for announcements through the day! After all...it’s your last trial of the game :) For reference, however, the "trial" will end at 9PM EST/6PM PST as is customary. As usual, the voting page is over here. However, this post will remain locked until 5:20PM EST/2:20PM PST for reasons. We will announce when the post is unlocked and provide further instructions at that time. While there will be no personal consequences for characters who do not vote, we require a minimum of 10 submissions or there will be game-wide consequences.
