The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round…until they suddenly stop. Just as quickly as the bus ride started, the sudden jolt of the bus hitting the brakes may disrupt you from your current activities (whatever those may be.) It’s hard to determine just how long you’ve been on this road trip, but some of you may be able to tell it’s been nearly forty-eight hours. Where could you have possibly been traveling? Worry not, dear travelers! Why, if you’ll wait one moment, the doors of the bus will gently open… …and the floors of the bus will tilt, spitting every single one of you out onto the ground with little warning before the doors slam closed and the bus begins to drive away. As you gather your wits and regain your bearings, the first thing you may notice is the very distinct scent of pine and the lingering scent of rain in the air. Beneath your feet, the words BUP STOP have been spray painted into the dirt and above you a large wooden sign proudly declares that you’ve arrived at your destination. Welcome to CAMP GATONINA. Well-maintained greenery surrounds the area with trees as far as the eye can see, and a dirt path seems to lead straight into camp. Fog looms in the distance, though perhaps that’s from the rainy weather. Come along, don't be shy. You’re welcomed here, after all! As you make your way forward, you’ll soon be greeted with the sound of a bright and almost cheerful voice that seems to be amplified somehow, gathering the attention of all. "Right this way, ladies and gentlemen. Your lovely hosts await!" A cloud of fog parts, and in the center of the path sits a three-tiered platform. Three figures stand on the platform before you, two of whom hold a white basket with depictions of the sun. Despite looking directly at them, it’s hard to make out the features of these three outside of their very unusual outfits. You’ll have plenty of time to explore the camp later, but for now it seems that the figure in the top hat has a megaphone in hand and an announcement to make. "That should be all of you. Let's not waste time, shall we? You'll need these sooner than later, I imagine." The figure with the top hat begins to call out names as the other two figures hold onto the basket, using their free hands to distribute small keys with different wooden keychains shaped like animals. When the final key is distributed, the megaphone is lifted once more as the figure without the basket gestures to the space around you. "Welcome to Camp Gatonina. We look forward to your stay." [ooc: for the sake of your mods, please choose only one NPC to speak to for now! Should we feel confident with our tagload, we may open this up to more tags later, but don't worry! There will be more opportunities to speak with them in the future... Please be sure to read all of the new information provided to you! In addition, please keep in mind that this is not the week zero mingle! A new mingle will go up tomorrow to officially begin the game, so please do not use this post to toplevel regarding the new locations! You may, however, PC to your hearts' content ♥] |

[they are trying their best.]

[ where would they end up ]
no subject
[please no wandering off.]

Is that the reason for these, then?
[ taps on the scrunchie at her wrist. ]
no subject
[their voice is firmer, there.]
no subject
All right, all right, I won't do it again anytime soon. Though.
Maintenance equipment, things to tinker with. Soldering iron. A proper repair kit. Any of the above. Would you be able to provide that?
no subject
[pardon them while they seem to search through their sleeves for several moments...
eventually they do produce a small soldering iron, brushing something from it before they offer it out to her.]
Is this right?
no subject
It'll work, thanks. ... Would it be pushing it if I asked for some solder to actually use with it, a screwdriver, and maybe a bit of heat shrink tubing or plastic wire shielding?
[ me trying to remember everything needed to repair damaged cables and wires tbh, ]
no subject
[thank you 45 for explaining what goes with it... they rummage around again, removing each item one by one. there's some solder and a screwdriver, at least. they fiddle with each for a moment before giving it to her, but then they pause.]
...can do these two, but not the last. Apologies.
no subject
[ honestly this is already more than she was expecting. hmmm. ]
Can we do electrical tape, then? Just a bit will be enough.
no subject
[and after a moment, they manage to pull out a small roll of electrical tape! there's a fairly small amount of the solder too, for reference.]
Will this help?
no subject
[ small amounts are perfectly fine, because she's tucking what she can away into the fanny pack and hanging on to the rest. ]
Out of curiosity, what was wrong with the two you couldn't get? And... What did you remove from the first three things you gave me that you didn't from the tape?
no subject
[sometimes you just don't have access to particular things.]
Removed from tape too. Easier to dispose beforehand. Not always clean.

[ what secrets hide up those sleeves. ]

Unavailable.

[ they can come back to it at some later point if it comes up. ]
The three of you ... do your duties and abilities differ?
no subject
[there's a weird little noise that sounds like it may be a distorted hum.]
Prefer to work with grounds. Was called groundskeeper by someone else... don't object to it.
no subject
[ there's some abstract sort of notion to the idea that's vaguely amusing. ]
What of the other two then? Winter and Heart?
no subject
as for her other questions, they gesture to the other two.]
Can ask them. Would explain better.... they like talking more.
no subject
Not much of a people person... being... are you? Don't worry, I know how it feels.
[ does. does she. ]
One more for now and I'll leave you be. I know you all keep saying, 'no murder.' But on the off chance something does happen- freak accident, a tree falls on someone, a strike of lightning out of the blue, someone left something heavy in a high and precarious place and it falls on someone...
How would you handle it?
no subject
[having 41 people here is much different from just the three directors...
they pause at her question, though, going quiet as they consider.]
Very much hope it won't happen. Will deal with situations as they arise. Have some considerations in case of problems, but none decided.
no subject
... Fair enough. Well, I think I'll go bother the others now.
Take care, all right~? ♪

[they incline their head to her, before stepping back slightly.]
Please ask if anything is needed.
