The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and roundā¦until they suddenly stop. Just as quickly as the bus ride started, the sudden jolt of the bus hitting the brakes may disrupt you from your current activities (whatever those may be.) Itās hard to determine just how long youāve been on this road trip, but some of you may be able to tell itās been nearly forty-eight hours. Where could you have possibly been traveling? Worry not, dear travelers! Why, if youāll wait one moment, the doors of the bus will gently open⦠ā¦and the floors of the bus will tilt, spitting every single one of you out onto the ground with little warning before the doors slam closed and the bus begins to drive away. As you gather your wits and regain your bearings, the first thing you may notice is the very distinct scent of pine and the lingering scent of rain in the air. Beneath your feet, the words BUP STOP have been spray painted into the dirt and above you a large wooden sign proudly declares that youāve arrived at your destination. Welcome to CAMP GATONINA. Well-maintained greenery surrounds the area with trees as far as the eye can see, and a dirt path seems to lead straight into camp. Fog looms in the distance, though perhaps thatās from the rainy weather. Come along, don't be shy. Youāre welcomed here, after all! As you make your way forward, youāll soon be greeted with the sound of a bright and almost cheerful voice that seems to be amplified somehow, gathering the attention of all. "Right this way, ladies and gentlemen. Your lovely hosts await!" A cloud of fog parts, and in the center of the path sits a three-tiered platform. Three figures stand on the platform before you, two of whom hold a white basket with depictions of the sun. Despite looking directly at them, itās hard to make out the features of these three outside of their very unusual outfits. Youāll have plenty of time to explore the camp later, but for now it seems that the figure in the top hat has a megaphone in hand and an announcement to make. "That should be all of you. Let's not waste time, shall we? You'll need these sooner than later, I imagine." The figure with the top hat begins to call out names as the other two figures hold onto the basket, using their free hands to distribute small keys with different wooden keychains shaped like animals. When the final key is distributed, the megaphone is lifted once more as the figure without the basket gestures to the space around you. "Welcome to Camp Gatonina. We look forward to your stay." [ooc: for the sake of your mods, please choose only one NPC to speak to for now! Should we feel confident with our tagload, we may open this up to more tags later, but don't worry! There will be more opportunities to speak with them in the future... Please be sure to read all of the new information provided to you! In addition, please keep in mind that this is not the week zero mingle! A new mingle will go up tomorrow to officially begin the game, so please do not use this post to toplevel regarding the new locations! You may, however, PC to your hearts' content ♥] |

Sooooo parkour, then. Shame.
Might have really impressed all those people you charmed over with a smooch.

[HUFFS A LAUGH, but. he presses a hand against his face again]
They made it sound way worse than it was.
[. . .]
[no it was pretty bad]

Now if you KEEP doing that, then that's a whole other mess, but... I mean, who knows. People have weirder kinks.

[just gives Guy a completely blank look]
I'm happily taken. There will be no more kissing from these lips.
[except for ONE PERSON who is NOT HERE]

Out of the two of us, I promise I'm the lucky one. And what can I say? This wild heart only settles down for a very special person.

Spoken like a true romantic.
Does she know about your secret life of crime, or is that just a side hobby?
no subject
[boy does she know. HER KNOWING ALMOST FUCKED THINGS UP!!!]
. . . not that I told her in the best way, and in hindsight it was pretty shitty of me, but-- we worked it out.
no subject
She was that upset about you getting arrested, huh.
[Said in the very obvious tone of a man who knows that they are no longer talking about the same thing.]
no subject
[yeah they definitely are not]
Completely devastated. She had no idea she was involving herself with a criminal.

[gestures to "summoning satan]

looks back at him]
I mean, I think you're being a little harsh on yourself.
[Summoning circles are common???????????]
no subject
Oh. Thanks for the vote of confidence. You're too kind.
no subject
I aim to please.
Seriously, though, I hope people don't give you too much trouble over this. You really seem like a nice guy.
no subject
Well-- thanks. I don't know about that, but I do try not to be a complete and total asshole.

If you've got some crazy devilish persona that you're stowing away for a special occassion, maybe we can revisit. But bad mistakes don't make a bad person. It's how you respond and what kind of effort you put into it that's more important.
no subject
You're a pretty nice guy yourself-- uh. Guy.

[in akira's opinion!!]

[Is... he shuddering a little...]
It's a problem I'd love to pass onto someone else most days. All I do is says what comes to mind, and somehow that turns into a horror show.
no subject
"Horror show?"

You ever just get cornered by four girls cooing about how adorable you are, and all you want to do is pass out? And somehow, them knowing that you'll react that way just makes them worse?
[This is rhetorical because he knows Akira has a lady, but oogh.]
Look, I like girls just fine. Having them that close just scares me. You could call it a phobia, I guess.
no subject
You're. . . afraid of women? Or just crowds?
