Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it looks like you'll be here for a little while. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. Finally, though all seems normal at first glance... You will quickly realize something is wrong the moment you start interacting with other people. Or, more specifically, once you come in physical contact with them. For the rest of the week, anyone who makes skin-to-skin (or whatever counts as skin, for the non-humans) contact with someone else will find themselves in a bit of a sticky situation. Whatever body parts touched will be stuck together for the next hour, with no way to separate them. Try not to create additional points of contact while trying to cheat your way out of this situation, yeah? That would be unpleasant, for each spot will last an entire hour. Good luck.

Listen, I just want that sweet cash. I heard a rumor they might get some pets in stock soon.

[ given that he's at least cleaning up the mess that he made, giyuu isn't going to be as furious anymore. he does keep an eye on him so that he doesn't make a mess again after cleaning it up. the point is to keep things clean!!!! ]

Everybody else around here has chickens and rave crabs. I really want a dog, but I'd settle for any animal at all.

[He is doing a decent job cleaning it up? But once he's done, he just dumps the dirty towel in the sink.]

Rave crab. [ he'll trail off for a moment as he recalls the nightly crab raves of a distant (wretched) island of not long enough past. ] It was interesting to watch dance every night.

[ and with the fact that magnus isn't botching the cleaning, giyuu will go back to cleaning the cabinets like he had offered originally. just a little scrub here and there and making sure to neglect nothing. ]

But dogs are nice. Do you like a certain breed over another?

Oh! You're from the island too, huh?

[Sounds like a blast, man. Rave crabs everywhere.]

Big dogs! Aside from that, nah. Just want one.

[ the island was not a blast. do not tell giyuu he thinks it was a blast.....

he'll open one of the doors to give it a good wipe down before he imagines any other kind of dog besides a big one next to magnus. hm. ]

A big dog would suit you. A smaller one might get crushed.

[He laughs at that, while he starts to fix a wobbly kitchen stool? Hmm.]

Nah, I'm a big guy, but I can be gentle! Magnus doesn't hurt defenseless animals. But little dogs make me so worried! They're so helpless! I'd worry all the time somebody might step on him or something.

[ giyuu will watch him mess with the stool for a moment before seeing a spot on what we would know as a fridge and going to wipe it off. though by the nature of it, he finds himself in a mini feedback loop of having finger prints that stay on the surface as he wipes.

...he figures it out, don't worry. ]

I know someone who is built like you. [ he pauses for a moment. ] He also worries about hurting things that appear to be weaker than him.

[ actually he just kind of feels bad for a lot of things but that's besides the point. giyuu misses a lot of points. ]
