Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it looks like you'll be here for a little while.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

Finally, though all seems normal at first glance... You will quickly realize something is wrong the moment you start interacting with other people. Or, more specifically, once you come in physical contact with them.

For the rest of the week, anyone who makes skin-to-skin (or whatever counts as skin, for the non-humans) contact with someone else will find themselves in a bit of a sticky situation. Whatever body parts touched will be stuck together for the next hour, with no way to separate them. Try not to create additional points of contact while trying to cheat your way out of this situation, yeah? That would be unpleasant, for each spot will last an entire hour. Good luck.

It does bring about a fresh slew of questions though, doesn't it? If we were interrupted, no saying what's happened to anyone else. Though I do hope we just happen to be the only unlucky ones, rather than everyone being plucked up by different ceaseless immortal powers for a second round!

I don't really want to consider all the other people who aren't here ending up somewhere just as crap. [ uggggggggggggggg. ]

Statistically speaking, things are probably in their favor, at least? After all, there were probably hundreds of us across these games. We all managed to make it to our destination just fine, despite the risk of traveling through portals or what-have-you. Only forty-one of us have ended up running into trouble here on our way back, which is a pretty low count, comparatively.

[Surely there would be more people in camp hell if it was just a free-for-all grab-all-the-survivors festival, right?? He sure hopes so, anyway.]

Unless something out there's running double duty and we've got one mess of a murder camp scenario here, and something else out there in the multiverse.

That's the part where we just have to cross our fingers and hope for the best. Maybe we should ask if one of our dear hosts has any purifying salts to throw, hah.

Oh, ours were horrible from the start. They made no attempt at all to pretend we weren't going to be killing each other! Plenty of blades, poisons, so on.

Hah, right? We had people buying up the weapons and poisons to hold onto them pretty quickly, at least. Fewer tools for our dear captors to use, considering everyone knew who had what but not where the items were hidden.

Oh, like... keep the dangerous stuff out of reach so it couldn't be used against you?

Mmhm! We had systems worked out. One or two people would know where someone was keeping a hidden weapon or poison. Since only one person was possessed a week, it was a little bit of a failsafe. Not perfect, though, of course.

So if they start bringing out the poisons and knives, we know who to go to for hiding potential deadly weaponry.
