Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands.

You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck.

axilium: (you can really tell how much the)

[he shrugs.]

Making stuff has always been something I do when I'm bored. Call it instinct? The point isn't necessarily to use any of it.

I guess. Did you learn how to make it in the first place because you were bored, too, or is there a story behind the whole bomb thing?
axilium: (... hurt someone for free)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
You can safely assume "boredom" as a motive behind a lot of what I do. Also, pranks.

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
Did you not have...

[Wait]

—Are you setting off bombs as a prank.
axilium: (would you ever doubt this face)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 04:46 am (UTC)(link)
Of course not, don't be silly. I haven't done that in years.
successives: (sommerfugl)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 04:47 am (UTC)(link)
I was really hoping the answer would be that you've never done that, you know.
axilium: (i am a little shit part 3)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 04:48 am (UTC)(link)
I am nothing but honest.
successives: (valse de l'adieu)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 04:50 am (UTC)(link)
Good to know.

[Anyways.]

Seriously, though, did you not have, like - schoolwork and stuff to do?
axilium: ("he may look like a gentleman")

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 04:52 am (UTC)(link)
I multitasked.
successives: (prelude and fugue)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
...Wow. I never had enough free time to multitask, what’s that like?
axilium: (... hurt someone for free)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
Pretty great. Beat having to graduate and be a productive member of society.
successives: (sicilienne)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
...You never graduated?

[she tries not to sound judgmental, but like

she sounds fairly judgmental.]
axilium: (unfortunately that's not until silent-x)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 05:03 am (UTC)(link)
No, the sad part is that I did and went and got a job.
successives: (turkish march)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 05:04 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, no. Tragic. What do you do?
axilium: (which is in development hell)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 05:06 am (UTC)(link)
A little tricky to explain, since it's not the most conventional of jobs, but I'm an operator for agents travelling to alternate dimensions.
successives: (sommerfugl)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 05:13 am (UTC)(link)
...So, you're an interdimensional flight attendant?
axilium: (... hurt someone for free)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Something like that, yes. Except I don't travel.
successives: (sicilienne)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 05:17 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that makes it significantly less cool.

[Still pretty cool, though.]
axilium: (why yes i do know everything)

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-16 03:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry to disappoint.
successives: (dance of the reed flutes)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-16 05:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Was it, like, interdimensional travel for fun, or... Well, actually, you said agents, so I'm guessing not.
axilium: ("he may look like a gentleman")

[personal profile] axilium 2020-06-18 01:20 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope. Purely business-related.
successives: (pic#14021499)

[personal profile] successives 2020-06-19 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah? What kind of business?
