Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

b,
[WAS JUST LOOKING FOR YOU is what he was going to say as he trots on over, but he times this very poorly and just ends up taking this wholeass toy tractor to the forehead.
He crumples like a brittle little tin can, falling to the ground. Did this KO him?? It's possible, he's a 1 HP mage.]

[ HE WAS SURE HE WAS CLEAR? HEWWO? the weeds are forgotten as soon as wwx goes down; majima sprints over to his fallen form and starts checking for a pulse. because. we have established stupid deaths are a thing here. i hate this. ]
Ya better not die on me, man, this is such a dumb fuckin' way to go.
no subject
i wish jk his pulse is fine and his stupid head is fine, even if he groans dramatically and delicately touches his forehead. There will be a bruise shaped like a toy truck grill there soon.]
Ah, what in the world have I done to deserve such a cruel fate...!
no subject
All right, ya still got enough breath in ya to bitch, quit bein' a drama queen.
no subject
How bad is it? Am I cut, am I bleeding?
[It's just a little red, the weenie.]
What even was that thing, anyway? It came at me too fast to tell!
no subject
It was a toy truck...a tractor, from the looks of it? I was hopin' for something to help with weed pullin', then that thing popped into my hands. It felt like the universe was just makin' fun of me at that point.
no subject
Ah, right... I think it's tied to these tattoos we have. [He raises his hand and taps at his own star, which is still dark black.] I've seen some other idle wishes turn up granted in a silly way, too.
no subject
[ after taking a look at his somewhat faded tattoo, he just shakes his head. ]
Well, while yer out here... wanna pick a few weeds with me?
no subject
[None of them are so lucky, though... ANYWAY, he actually loves fieldwork and farmwork, so that's enough to have him finally stop being a drama queen. He pushes himself up from the ground and hops back to his feet!]
Sure, sure! Where did you leave off?
no subject
[ which is why he's going back to crouching down right where they're standing to start pulling again! ...though, huh, wait a sec— ]
Wait, ya said you were lookin' for me, didn't ya? What for?
no subject
[He says, and then promptly stares at the ground for a few seconds in that lost sort of way someone does when they enter a room and can't remember why the fuck they went there.]
...Maybe I'll remember it after a little bit of work!
[He'll just. Drop down and start plucking up weeds, too.]
no subject
Did I really nail ya that hard?!
no subject
Mm, you knocked the memory right out of my head.
[He says this with a completely straight face though, because why not??]

b
Jesus. You got a vendetta against Tonka or something?
no subject
It's just a little bit of a kick in the dick when ya thought you might get something useful, and it turns out to just be a shitty toy. It's like it's mockin' me.

[ maybe she's here because she's morbidly curious if them escaping the mansion was just a fever dream or something like that, maybe the mansion has some of their keepsakes on display in the museum now if this is more of those residual effects or whatever.
but oh, whoops. it makes sense some of the zombies and ghosts might recognize their own belongings...? is that what this is. ]

...the card next to Bunchan. S'what I said to that little girl when she showed me what happened to it.
no subject
[ she wouldn't have pegged that item as belonging to majima, but then the world is full of surprises. ]
Well. It wouldn't be the first time that things having to do with the circumstances we're in might have dipped into more private moments.

[ lmao ]
But that was before the nature of the relationship between Master Blue and the house was more common knowledge.
no subject
Ya guys called him "Master" Blue?
no subject
[ most people did not, in fact, end up calling them master by the end. for various reasons. ]

[ MAJIMA, ]
—It was the house that was fucked, though, not the hosts, right?
no subject
[ there were CHILDREN there ]
But yes, it was the house. Not the hosts. The house rarely talked directly to us at all, unless you count the ominous threatening broadcasts every week.
