Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

Yeah, but the dirt's still kind of muddy from when it rained.
[and he holds up a hand that is covered in gross dirt and mud from pulling the weeds he did recognize. no fun]
no subject
[ he’s going straight to the showers after this though, damn. ]
no subject
[a soft snort as he continues to dig through the mud and greenery for supposed weeds. and since they're in the farmlands. . .!]
. . . you know, I bet we could grab some vegetables while we're here.
no subject
...
I can see your brain whirring away under all that hair. What’re you planning?
no subject
You caught me.
My dastardly plot is to bring fresh vegetables back to the kitchen so Shadows can use them to make our meals.
[devious]
no subject
...
Dude, cook your own food if you really wanna help a faceless wonder out.
[ and don't make it curry ]
no subject
Hey, Shadows likes to cook. And I bet they'd enjoy using fresh ingredients, too.
[. . . actually he's going to grab some carrots while he's pulling weeds. HARVEST TIME]
no subject
They the one that does all the food for the mess hall then? Winter said they can't cook for shit, so I know it's not them.
no subject
[he seems a bit surprised to hear that]
They seem to enjoy cooking a lot. . . though-- ah.
I guess enjoying it isn't the same as being good at it?
no subject
[ ash either just eats and runs, or cooks for himself. ]
no subject
Oh, yeah. It's definitely not Winter.
I'm pretty sure it's Shadows, but I suppose I never really asked.

Would you mind grabbing some radishes for me, too?
no subject
ah, got 'em. ash sets aside the weed wrangling for a bit to ease a few radishes out of the soil and add them in a new, third pile. ]
Is it all root veggies so far? I haven't looked around enough, but... [ he glances around. ] There's enough above ground greenery that I'm guessing whoever planted this went for variety.
no subject
[as they work their way through the gardens!!]
You know, I also wouldn't be surprised if this is Shadows' crop. They seem like the type who enjoys gardening.
no subject
But not weeding. Apparently.
no subject
[just because]
[there's mud being flung at him, too]
no subject
[ ash manages to duck partially out of the way but still gets mud on his jacket sleeve in the process. thanks. ]
You’re doing my laundry for me.
no subject
[cheeky little brat]
no subject
[ otherwise someone else is getting muddunked and it’s not him ]
no subject
[he'll be washing the mud out of his clothing, anyway]
no subject
[ they’re messy. but hey, at least the veggies aren’t hard to dig up either. ]
no subject
[Akira stands up when they're done and dusts his hands off in front of him]
There we go. As good as new.
no subject
Until they all start growing back again, sure. [ but hey, they have goods. veggies. ]
no subject
[someone else can weed, Akira is done]
