Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

... sure, why not? Are you looking to get anything good with your vouchers? Or is it just because?
[just because he wants to...]
no subject
Just because, for the most part! Our tokens could be used for surprisingly useful things like clue vouchers in trial back on the boat, so I figured it would be good to have some "currency" around, but nothing in the store has caught my eye.
[He also never bought a damn thing on the boat either, despite his many tokens...]
no subject
You had tokens on the boat? For wha—
[ . . . . .
she seems to realize for what
and just
stops]
Nevermind.
no subject
ANYWAY HE JUST. He just laughs tiredly at that, which probably confirms her suspicions.]
--Anyway! The boat, the boat - this one looks good. If you get into the front, I can steer from the back, alright?
no subject
before she moves to settle into the front as directed]
Mm, that's fine.
no subject
But he'll move to get into the back after, reaching over to grab his fishing shit before he pushes them away from the boardwalk.]
Here-- [Reaching over to pass her one of the oars.] I can also move us forward, but it's usually faster and easier if two people work together. If I start on the left, you have to start on the right, though - or we'd just go in a circle.
no subject
Fine, fine...
Ready?
[she's just going to start.]
no subject
Ready, ready! We just alternate - it's pretty easy once you get a rhythm.
[And he'll match hers, so she won't even have to work that hard at it!]
How far out do you want to go?
no subject
The center?
[why would they settle for less!]
no subject
Haha, good, good. The bigger fish always spend their time farther away from shore!
[TO THE CENTER THEY GO... where this fuckin shark is just there, waiting.]
Once we start getting close, you can put your oar up.
