Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

[Lord but if his spirit isn't renewed... Ready to vibrate out of his own skin from excitement, Sanji--
grabs a large butter knife first
listen he's not that crazy. NOT YET.]
You start with this just to get a feel of the knife. They're about the same height and weight as the chef's knife. [Damn these are some huge butter knives then BUT ANYWAY--]
The idea is you throw the knife so consistently that it makes one full rotation in the air. It's all muscle memory. And once you got that down, it doesn't matter what kind of knife you're throwing, you'll always be able to catch the shitty thing.

I see... that makes sense! [she holds out her hand for the knife] May I try?

[Watch her master it in five seconds. Sanji would be so proud...]

A-are you alright?!

[is she. IS SHE.]
...that was not the worst blow to the head I have ever sustained. [she leans down to pick up the knife where it dropped after bonking her on the head] I shall try again!
[
this time she throws it and catches it by the blade, not the handle, but it's a butter knife so it's fine]

[Flayn's everything gives Sanji a huge concern. Also this is again why he took away the actual chef knife. He will, however, brighten at the fact that she at least caught it this time]
Oi, improvement! Now you just gonna throw it with a little more spin.

[Do they. Do they really.
Anyway, Flayn nods and... tosses the knife in the air again!
This time she catches it by the handle.]
...ah!
