Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

... Then again, maybe that's because Akechi never pissed me off like he did half the castle.

[ good for him!! and his boyfriend apparently. ]
They must have been quite the pair.

[SANJI LIKED AKECHI but the fact they killed Rapunzel before him... whew.]
no subject
[ smug asshole? dang if the castle hated him so much how did they not just kill him ]
no subject
[God. Sanji feels tired just talking about him.]
-- Still weird to think there's another version of him who went to your haunted mansion.

From my point of view it's strange hearing that there was one who went to the castle. [ and got a boyfriend. ]
Stephanie didn't seem very impressed with him, in any case...

She's got... her reasons.
[SIGHING]
Y'see, every faction was required to complete tasks, same as here... but some of the tasks were downright hellish. [A pause] Like "set someone on fire" levels of bullshit.
Someone Steph-chan cared for agreed to help Akechi out with a murder in exchange for help completing a task, so they killed someone and then set the corpse on fire.

When this shit came out during a trial, no surprise that it spooked enough people into changing their vote. Three people got the same number of votes, so all of 'em were convicted.
[His... gaze shifts to the side. Goddamn, he feels so tired]
Two of the convicted were Akechi and Steph-chan's friend, so on top of Akechi's normal attitude, you can probably see why she's not too fond of him.

[ Yikes. All right, note to self: Steph has legit beef against Akechi. ]
That's... definitely a lot messier than any of our trials got, even when we did have multiple killers in the same week. But that the tasks you had were like that...
How long did it take before those sorts of tasks started becoming mandatory? No other options?
[ Because right now, their tasks are pretty uh, harmless, but if it's a ramp up sort of thing... ]
no subject
[That trial was such a shitshow.]
They were never mandatory from what I remember, but you get a bunch of desperate assholes looking for solutions and people are willing to do whatever it takes...
[A gesture at. everything. It's pretty clear that Sanji expects for people to treat the tasks like mandates, no matter how bad they get.]
