Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

he has some questions about why he seems so excited to be a ghost... and then agrees that he is one... but yin yu doesn't voice them, chalking it up to wei wuxian being a bit strange as he gives his answer. a very simple one, indeed... and to his question, he nods. ]
I do. I don't cultivate anymore, but I still practice many of the arts, and I find meditation to be relaxing... [ it's nice to get the constantly restrained thoughts in your head to shut the fuck up once in a while! ]

Haha, you do seem like you would. [This has the potential to be vaguely insulting, but Wei Wuxian just sounds fond when he says it.] There's a place in my world I think you would have enjoyed! They all wake up in the early morning and probably spend multiple hours in a day meditating or reflecting. Really, it's impressive!
[His wildly fluctuating attention span is not cut out for meditation, even if he too would like a break from his own thoughts every now and then... Teach him the secret of patience, Yin Yu.]

He nods, though! And finally pats some of the sand off of himself, since a bit of it is starting to get into his clothing.]
Mm! The Lan sect, from Gusu. Very rigid schedules, but the Cloud Recesses - a place like that seems like it'd suit you, somehow! It's tucked up high in the mountains and it's often rainy or foggy there, but it's surrounded by woods and streams. They have a lot of rules, but because of that you'll hardly ever find a soul speaking loudly or running, haha.

I don't usually, but I spent a little time there recently. It was just the same as I remember from when I was young, hah. I'd be more than happy to switch with you, though! Your city sounds so much livelier!
