Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, at the start of this week everyone will wake up with a tattoo of a star on the back of their hands. Though you will be unaware of its purpose at first, it will quickly become apparent the moment you say the words "I wish" out loud. It's a wish granting star! Or, well, sort of. Regardless of what you wish for, the result of the wish is always material, small, and never actually useful for what the character actually desires. They cannot cause effects or change anything, nor will it result in a weapon or items that can be used to solve a murder. For example, wishing for an exit will result in an Emergency Exit sign materializing in your hands. You will all get three wishes each. The star will become fainter with each wish, until disappearing once they make their third wish. All items gained through this effect will disappear once Week 2 officially begins. Good luck. |

...fish still tasted good though. he'll never not remember that.
but since wwx has already decided to run and move the fishing gear himself, he'll wander over towards the canoes and honestly has no idea if there's supposed to be any kind of difference between any of them. he supposes he'll go for the one that looks like it might be gremlin proof.
whatever that looks like. metal? ]
This one look fine to you?

Still, Wei Wuxian trots back over with his arms full of fishing gear and peers at the one Giyuu's pointed out. Without pause, he just chucks the gear into the center area.]
--Yes, that looks just fine to me! You can take the front seat, alright?
[He's being magnanimous, since the back rower does all the grunt work.]

Are you sure? If you want to fish, isn't it easier from the front?
[ says giyuu who doesn't spend that much time out in the water, probably. he is also the man who will miss the point entirely. or, i guess, he's kind in his own way? ...if you wanna give him anything to work with. ]

Doesn't really matter where on the boat you sit if you're good at fishing.
[He is quite good, so he'll tolerate The Back Seat. He'll also immediately blame Giyuu if he's not the one who catches the first big fish, because he's 3 years old and a little shit.]

Okay.
[ cue him taking the front part of the boat with that kind of reasoning. also it seems like it might be easier to just let it go... also, is giyuu good at fishing? or is he bad at fishing?? :thinkingemoji: ]
