Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

[Honored to be planted like a radish...]

[She laughs, a little bit surprised, and - well, a little bit pleased, too.]

Please. I'm not a kid.

[ADOPTED NOW! NO ESCAPE!! He huffs out a laugh, arching a brow.]

How old are you, again? Fifteen, sixteen?

I'm not fifteen.

[She sounds offended enough that the answer is probably clear.]

[There's a fraction of a second in which some distant part of his brain realizes, ah. If A-yuan were still alive today, he'd probably be around that age, wouldn't he?

He laughs, light and airy.]

Sixteen, sixteen! Ah, you can still be a favorite kid, then.

[After a few moments:]

...Why?

[He reaches out with a hand - the one that wasn't slobbered on... - and ruffles her hair.]

You're a good kid, that's why! I like you. You'd be a wonderful addition to the radish patch.

[HE SAYS LIKE A TEASING GOBLIN, but there's also genuine fondness there. He likes people fast! It happens. His kid now.]

[She's ducking away from the ruffle once she realizes what's happening, trying to smooth out her hair after he's done. Try as she might, she can't really hide the small smile that comes to her mouth for a moment.]

I see your master plan now. You just want more vegetables.

[COME BACK NATALIEEE he doesn't chase her, though. Just stands here with his arms crossed over his chest, looking satisfied in that doofy dad way.]

Ah, you caught me, you did! It's my goal to have the biggest and best patch with plenty of radishes for my lovely radish children to play with!

When radishes start sprouting all over me, I'll know who to blame.

Hah, if that happens, my radish patch idea may have been a little too successful.

[Please do not become one with the radishes Natalie.]

Be careful what you wish for, and all that.

[Or your children might start growing radishes...]

You're already at that rebellious age, ah? Terrible, terrible! They grow up so fast...

[DRAMATICALLY SIGHS, placing a hand to his forehead!!]

You've known me for, like, two weeks.

Time flies too quickly when you're raising young radishes! You blink and suddenly they're all sprouting legs and running out of your patch!

[This metaphor got weird. Was it ever a metaphor actually??]
