Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins. |

I don't eat meat for personal reasons. [Is this child a monk?] I'll take the carrot curry.
[He will.......sit down also.]
no subject
Ah, I see, I see. [He nods. Sounds very Gusu.] Here, then! Have as much as you want. Tell me what you think of it!
[He'll push the dish over! From look and smell alone, it is clearly Very Spicy.]
no subject
Alright.
[It smells high and (anna voice) spicy. Damian doesn't look concerned? He stirs some up and then puts it in his mouth without any hesitation.
Jokes on Wei Wuxian, he's half Middle Eastern and has gremlin Chinese ancestry. It's hot, but it doesn't obliterate Damian's palate. Wrow!]
It's acceptable.
no subject
At least Wei Wuxian can actually focus on Damian instead of his damn cat for once, though. AND A GOOD THING, TOO, since Wei Wuxian immediately perks up.]
Oh! Oh!! [FINALLY, ONE OF HIS PEOPLE. He slaps his hand flat against the table, delighted.] Wonderful, how wonderful! You wouldn't believe the amount of people complaining, hah. It's good, isn't it? It's good!
no subject
It's good.
[HE HATES AGREEING.]
Many can't tolerate the heat of some spices. [like me, anna] It overpowers the taste.
no subject
Mm, they grow up in places where weak palates are encouraged. [Gusu. He's thinking of Gusu.] It's too bad! They're missing out on so much!
no subject
How many people exactly have you tortured trying to get them to eat this?
[He knows it was a lot. So many people in this camp have probably suffered greatly.]
no subject
He also blinks at that, placing a hand against his chest! Like an innocent Victorian maiden!!]
You make it sound like I twisted arms! Anyone with eyes an a nose would be able to tell this is spicy! It's not my fault if someone has a bite without being able to tolerate the heat, mm?
[He still does not list off any numbers though.]
no subject
You convinced them to eat it by saying it wasn't as spicy as they thought it would be.
[You can't trick him, you fiend. He saw how you waved him over, excited, trying to scope out one non-feeble palate person.]
Has anyone else been able to eat it? Did you use your power to curse the food?
no subject
I didn't say it wasn't spicy, though! And it's really not as spicy as it could be! I picked one of the middle dishes, haha.
[Or did he... Mysteries. He's delighted to have found a fellow non-feeble palate person, in any case!]
Hah! I didn't! I wish I had that power. No, I'm just as delightfully surprised as everyone else.
["DELIGHTFUL"... QUESTIONABLE.]
no subject
Did you convince one of the hosts to make the food spicy this week then?
[Well, no point in wasting anything. So he starts eating what he's been given.]
no subject
Nope! Didn't do that, either. I may have mentioned that I like spicy food to one or two of them, though? [His bad, bad memory...] But surely there are more people than me who enjoy a good spice!
no subject
Oh? And besides me, who else have you found able to handle a decent amount of spice?
[NAME HIM THE FEW OTHER PEOPLE IN THIS HELLSCAPE WHO CAN HANDLE the spice, WEI WUXIAN.]
no subject
Belph and Majima! Tonbokiri handles his spice decently... Mmm, Ash? Sanji and Taako? Though they like theirs at milder levels, but they can still handle a decent amount!
[He actually doesn't remember for Sanji or Taako but he assumes Taako does at least, since he made Wei Wuxian a hellaciously hot soup once.]
