Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

[ Oh okay! Escha takes her hand very easily. But. ]

... It's surprisingly embarrassing, when I know it's for a date.

[ Otherwise holding hands wouldn't be embarrassing! ]

Good! That's the feeling you should have.

[ but she will pull escha closer. ]

Let's go find something to do.

Really? Dates are supposed to make you feel embarrassed?

[ She mentally taking notes here, okay!! ]

There are some new areas that opened up this week.

Maybe not embarrassed, exactly, but they should make you feel jittery.

... we can pick one of them and see how it is.

Well, I am pretty nervous.

[ It's her first date, after all!! ]

Hmm. What's usually a good type of date spot?

It usually depends on your personal preference.

... a stereotypical answer would be a nice restaurant, or a movie theater, or something? But especially places you can get food.

I don't really like what they're showing at the theater... And we don't really have restaurants here.

Well... we can look around and see if there's anything that's fitting. Let's go to the garden first.

Oh! Gardens definitely sound romantic!

[ Steph you're so good at this!!! ]

Mm, it's hard to beat flowers...

[ but okay, to the garden it is! ]

So... What sort of stuff do you talk about on dates?

Well, on the first few dates, it's usually taking the time to get to know each other better! So people might talk about their interests and stuff.

This part will seem pretty similar to just asking friends stuff. But you can get a good idea if your might get along romantically based on what they like or don't like... you can see if there are any obvious red flags.

That makes sense.

[ But Escha figures that by now she's basically an open book as far as her interests. Because they basically begin and end with alchemy. So. ]

So - what would you say your interests are?

[ she has to think about it

Oh...

That seems like a really common interest around here. [ A very peaceful nerd girl, trying desperately to make conversation out of that: ] Is it, um, nice having something in common with so many people?

Eh. I wouldn't know.

[ she fought none of them. ]

You haven't been... [ What was the word Ash used. ] Brawling?

[ she snorts. ]

No. Who would I even do that with? [ ... ] I guess I can ask Dick...

[ Escha frowns. ]

I don't want him brawling. He's already at high risk from his own actions.

[ she laughs ]

Okay, okay, no Dick! I'm out of options then though.

I think that's probably for the better.

[ Even though she can think of several people who would probably be happy to brawl? ]

[ absolutely none of them gave the offer to steph so they are dead to her. ]

I need to stay in shape... I can train on my own, but it's better to do sparring with another person.

Really? Aren't you afraid that one of you will get hurt?

I always think the best way to combat experience is from fighting monsters...
