POPULATION: 37 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

[After being told that he should be glad for what he gets, he looks wide-eyed at Sanji.]

I can take another one? Is that okay?

[In that case, he'll take another cookie and bite right into it. He perks up.]

It's good!

[concasse]

[Sanji is full of shit; never trust him, child.

Though he's far too busy being pleased at that reaction. If he had a tail, it'd be wagging]

Right? Some of the best cookies you'll ever taste!

[It may well be the best cookie he's ever tasted, period. He takes another bite before he answers, because it's that good.]

Did you make these for everyone?

[concasse]

Aa -- for one of the tasks on the bulletin boards. Cooking for others is a sign of affection, eh? You gotta eat to survive, so there's no greater gift than someone offering you food.

[Aaah, the chef lore. And he looks rather earnest when saying as much, too.]

[That lore is delicious food. Zenitsu looks down at the cookie with two small chunks bitten out of it, suddenly appreciating it more.]

I guess not. And food always tastes better when you eat with someone.

[concasse]

Bingo, you got it.

[Putting a hand on his hip, the other one easily balancing the tray of cookies on an open palm]

So who are you sharing that other cookie with, eh?

[swordflash]

I'm giving it to my date!

This seems like something that person might like.

[concasse]

-- Ooooooh.

[LEANING FORWARD]

And who is this date?

[Sanji has turned into nosy nancy]

[swordflash]

His name is Asch!

[Zenitsu is not shy at all about sharing this news.]

[concasse]

-- Oh.

[Straightening??? A little shocked]

Well, y'know... I guess that's not a bad pick...

[Give Sanji a moment, he's gotta process this information]

You two are friends then?

[swordflash]

[If Zenitsu has noticed Sanji's shock, he doesn't appear to mind enough to comment.]

We're engaged.

[He's suddenly very excited.]

It means we're getting married! Neither of us is going to be wearing a shiromuku, but that's fine with me if it's Asch!

[concasse]

Y-you know what marriage is, right? That's one hell of a commitment to be making! I mean--

[BRUH]

Not saying Asch is a bad candidate or anything, but I'm surprised he agreed to it.

[swordflash]

He's the one who said that a marriage was only natural.

[One might say that it's Zenitsu who agreed to the arrangement. What a shocker!]

If I can spend the rest of my life with him, I'll be the happiest person on earth!

[concasse]

SANJI JUST WANTS TO TALK???]

I mean, if you're happy, I can't say shit about it. Just... didn't realize you two were so shitty close.

[swordflash]

[Asch is busy. Please try again later.]

We didn't get to talk much at the mansion, but we still fought alongside and with each other, and now we're closer than ever. Pretty soon we'll be family!

I'd never thought I'd be this happy!

[concasse]

[this is one hell of a fever dream he's having.]

Yeah, uh. You're pretty damn peppy right now...

[Sanji's surprised? Impressed? Last time they talked, he seemed so timid. Guess that's the power of love (citation needed)]

I wonder what marriage ceremonies are like in his world. I'll have to ask when I see him again.

[And here he starts giggling, which is unfortunately not the prettiest sound. At least he's excited.]
