POPULATION: 37 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

Pretty sure sone people go on dates to try and figure that part out, and they might decide the answer’s a “no” anyway. Still makes it a date, if that’s what you both agreed on.

That’s one way to put it, sure. You might go on a date with someone and find that, actually, you kinda hate them. If you like them, and they like you, you keep going on dates.

Who would go on a date with someone that they're that close to hating?

Sometimes you don't know you hate them until you date them.

Try it and see. Now's as good a time as any - it's a task, you can use that as a reason.

After a moment of thinking about it she offers her hand out, to hold! Handholds are a date thing! ]

So... What do you usually do, when you aren't... Forced into a systemic murder games?

I'm normally at Thors, so studying. And let me guess -- you like alchemy?

[ She nods enthusiastically! ... But that is exactly why she's asking about him. She's already such an open book. She knows. ]

What sort of thing do you study? Do you have a field, or like - an area of expertise?

[ well. the questions are benign enough. it's fine. ]

They filter us off into classes when we started. Special ops, military tactics and military finance. Most classes are shared, but stuff like homeroom and specialised classes are separate.

Huh? That all seems really combat-based. Are things that difficult where you're from?

[ That school would need to be about fighting? Or is it a specialized fighting school??? ]

Erebonia loves expansion. Military runs deep in the Empire.

Um... Is that good or bad?

[ Because it sounds? Kind of bad? But she doesn't want to be rude??? ]

Depends on who you ask.

That must be difficult, then... Going to that kind of school when you don't like the cause...

It's just an academy. Pretty sure only like... a third of the last graduating class actually went into the military. Graduating from Thors looks good on your paperwork, I guess.
