Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

No, it doesn't look like you have anything under control . . .

[ after another brief moment of watching this nightmare unfold, zenitsu decides that he's had enough. he steps toward the llama that's chewing on giyuu's haori and offers a palm of animal feed as distraction. ]

[ zenitsu is a better than most and the llama will be distracted by the feed and decide that proper food would be better than his haori. ...and if giyuu was a terrible person, he would feel some sort of negative feeling towards the animal, but no, he is just annoyed at how much damage his haori is getting.

FIRST THE FIRE AND NOW THIS. whatever; he has an empty bucket of feed and a soggy haori. at least there are cute rabbits?? ]

You didn't have to, but thank you, Zenitsu.

[ clothes are important, especially if they carry meaning. zenitsu gives the llama a pat as he continues to provide the feed he brought. ]

The whole point of this task is to stop them from eating clothes, isn't it? Does it count as finished if the animals help themselves?

Can you even move?

[ the rabbits are still there. ]

I'm not certain.

[ given how there is another animal he does not recognize in the distance meandering their way. it looks friendly but??? what is it? (it's a baby elephant.) he could warn zenitsu about it, but it's fine. he's squatting down and ignoring that right now. ]

I could move if I moved the rabbits but— [ he scoops up a rabbit into his arms. wholesome content. ] I don't mind them.

[ the elephant??? ]

[ wow. this looks so much more wholesome than zenitsu expected.

he decides to let them be when the baby elephant totters up and nudges him with a long trunk. startled by the sudden contact, he steps back on instinct, but soon begins to feed the elephant while the llama, thoroughly sated, departs. ]

There are all kinds of animals here, aren't there?

[ sometimes they just need something wholesome before things get chaotic?? they had a rough time—giyuu notes how easy zenitsu handles the animals, though. ]

Yes. [ he shuffles a bit away from the elephant. ] Including ones I haven't seen before...

[ he says as he eyes the elephant with the rabbit in his arms. clearly none of them are scared of the other but it's huge and he hasn't seen it before. ]

[ as long as he doesn't start complaining up a storm, they will not bite him.

what's with the watchful gaze? zenitsu glances between giyuu and the animal he's feeding. ]

Isn't this an elephant?

[ let's not start that; it's the last thing they need. ]

I didn't realize it would be so big.

[ it's a baby giyuu. ]

Even when they were young.

They're huge when they're grown. Compared to that, isn't this one kind of small?

[ definitely big for a baby, but nowhere as big as an adult. ]

[ hm.

giyuu would get closer to the elephant if he wasn't trapped by rabbits, but at least some have decided to hop away looking for food elsewhere. ...mostly, at least. there are two rabbits that suddenly seem interested in zenitsu's pants? ]

I haven't seen one in person. It's surprising to see it here.

[ he steps back to drop feed onto the ground for the rabbits, but doing so takes his hand away from the elephant, who begins to beg for his attention. now he's starting to get a sense of what giyuu was going through earlier. ]

He doesn't look dangerous. [ zenitsu pauses. ] She? I can't tell.

[ he..? she..?

hm. though the rabbits look happy enough with the food that zenitsu offers them as the elephant wants more attention. sometimes it's a bad thing when you're popular? ]

They can be whatever they want to be. [ if only because i don't want giyuu to check the sex of this elephant and he wouldn't care one way or another. ] ...and I hope that it stays that way.

[ he's watching you elephant. ]

[ that's one answer. elephants are strong, though, and this one nearly bowls him over in the insatiable pursuit of food. ]

All right, all right! I'll give you some, so stop pushing already.

[ but now that his attention has returned to the elephant, it seems the bigger threat lies in the rabbits at his feet, who consume their share before hopping over toward giyuu. ]

[ well, now that zenitsu has his hands full of elephant, giyuu will be more than okay to attend to the rabbits. he is fine with the rabbits and will squat down to feed them. ]

[ it all goes well except when there's a clucking noise as another animal approaches him as he's seated on his heels.

now presenting giyuu staring right at a chicken in the face. it hasn't decided if it wants to peck giyuu in the face or not and giyuu hasn't decided if he's in danger or not.

the..animals are supposed to be docile????? ]

[ while the animals have demanded their attentions, zenitsu is still in a conversation with giyuu. he looks over his shoulder while the elephant is occupied with the feed and makes a face. why is giyuu having a staring contest with the chicken? ]

[ sometimes??

you just wanna stare down a chicken??? actually it's more like he isn't sure what's going to happen between the chicken and him. there's feed in his hand but it isn't feed meant for a chicken.

does. does he offer it? what do you call playing chicken with a chicken? the rabbit is at least hopping away being satisfied with its meal. ]

[ the elephant continues to eat. zenitsu continues to make a face until he can't take this bizarre staring contest anymore. ]

What are you doing? Hurry up and feed the chicken.

[ if the chicken wants a different kind of feed, go and get it! ]

[ IT WILL BE ON ZENITSU'S CONSCIOUS IF THE CHICKEN PECKS GIYUU IN THE FACE.

except it won't. instead it'll take the feed that giyuu offers??? and clucks in appreciation?? giyuu is still staring at the chicken though. he trusts no fowl. ]

[ no, it'll be on giyuu's stupidity. fortunately, it doesn't come to that. ]

Why are you staring? It's just a chicken.

[ the water pillar is so strange! ]

[ no, it doesn't, because giyuu deserves some mercy. ]

I'm wondering if it'll peck me.

[ obviously??

not that it seems like it will do that? maybe. it is looking at giyuu and clucking every so often. ]

If you keep looking, you'll get pecked.

[ cease before the chicken is aggravated by the persistent staring. ]

Right.

[ what if i want him to be pecked!!!! but, he doesn't, and instead just stands up and looks back at zenitsu. though, for whatever reason, standing up seemed to be an issue with the chicken and it starts clucking(?) at them and rushes towards zenitsu.

aren't chickens...supposed to be chicken? ]

[ what.

that chicken is coming in way too fast for comfort. zenitsu lifts his foot with a squeak, just barely maneuvering it out of the way while the chicken speeds past. ]

Why is it charging at me? Hey!

[ maybe it sees zenitsu as a weird dandelion just as nezuko does. or maybe given all of the yellow he wears it thinks of him as a giant chick... who knows, either way it clucks at his feet.

hm. maybe giyuu should do something but he's impressed... a brace chicken.... ]

Stop! Leave me alone!

[ this weird dandelion artfully weaves around the myriad animals to paste himself against giyuu's back. pillars should protect their juniors. ]

I'm almost out of feed!
