Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

[He lays some strips of paper out. There's a little tin of what appears to be hand-mixed ink, which has several skewers of bamboo resting along the edge. Their ends are black; this is his slapshod writing utensil of choice, apparently.]

You can take a paper and write anything at all on it. Well wishes - numbers, if you'd like to treat it as money. Ghosts love money, apparently. [A little quirk of a grin.] Pictures, things you'd like to say. The important part- [A pause as he flicks another paper into the fire.] -is burning them.

[He nods, looking over the supplies. The paper, the ink, the bamboo skewers...it's all incredibly traditional. He respects that, somehow.]

Well wishes, huh. [A slightly amused smile at that, like he's remembering an inside joke. Anaido glances over the paper, before pulling one towards him and taking a skewer in hand.] What does the burning do? Send it to them?

[He grins a little, and his shoulders rise and fall in a gentle slope.]

Supposedly! [A binch never got any money when he was dead, so he doesn't know.] Since you reduce its physical form to ash, all that's left is the intent behind it. The dead can carry that along with them... Perhaps.

I see. A bit convoluted, but I understand.

[He thinks about it for a moment, before he draws what looks like a little cat with big black eyes. Above the cat is a dangling string.]

I think he'll like this, haha. [And he folds it up, carefully.] And I just throw it in the fire?

[Leaning over to watch him draw like a nosy little shit. It's fine, it's not like the dead actually get these things!!]

Oh? That's cute. [VERY CUTE.] But yes! Just fold it and toss it in. You can say a little prayer or something if you want, too, but I don't think it matters much.

Alright.

[He folds it carefully, before closing his eyes. His voice is low as he murmurs:]

I hope you're doing well over there. I hope I'll get a real chance to pull you out.

[And he casts it into the fire, watching it burn up with a bittersweet look.]

...Ahaha, can I do more than one?

[He's quiet as Anaido voices his words, watching the paper burn to ash. After, he shoves a few more slips over.]

Mm, of course! As many as you'd like, for as many different people as you'd like. The more, the merrier!
