Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

[ Sprinkling more treats on his lap and down by his feet. Totally for the kittens already on him and not to draw more over. Nope not at all. ]

What's the matter, Chuuya? You don't like them?

[ He knows that's not the case. ]

Look at their little eyes.

[ He's reaching over to stroke a kitten climbing up on Chuuya. Can he feel the loud rumbling coming from such a tiny thing. ]

[He can, their purring is so loud. Loud, adorable, squeaky kittens.]

Stop it! It's not that they're not cute!

[He. He's struggling to stay up. One nearly flips over his shoulder going for treats so he has to lean back a bit, and he ends up flopping backwards onto the ground anyway. And further buried by kittens.]

[ He's just found a new way to get Chuuya. Amazing. Shaking the treats to draw even more mews and squeaks before sprinkling them on Chuuya. Looks like all the kittens are coming over all on their own. ]

I think they like you.

[ He'll pull out his phone to snap a picture. ]

They like me because there's food on me- ow their claws!

[The picture snapped is of Chuuya in kitten hell, covered in kittens and looking half-mad, half-pained. Those claws. They kill.]

[ Taking a moment to consider being nice before he shakes the treats again and dumps in a pile next to them. ]

You aren't going to hurt them if you pull them off.

[ Cats seems durable. ]

They're small and fragile! I can't just toss them around!

[He's trying to gently pry them off of him. But they cry when he does it so he just. Resigns himself to his cat-fate.]

You did this to me.

[ Oh my god he doesn't want to make them cry. ]

I'll take partial responsibility, Chuuya.

[ Since Chuuya is just taking it. Petting the one climbing on his chest. LOUD PURRING ]

Do you want me to free you from your suffering?

[He's taking it because he can't make the kittens cry, that's too sad.]

Be gentle with them, they're just babies.

[ Wow. Chuuya is being soft again.

He will pick up a kitten and set it where he put the treats. ]

Hai hai. I'll be gentle with the babies.

[ Time to rescue Chuuya from the kitten pile. Picking them up and letting them rumble in his hands before he puts them down with the others. Some of them cry because they were getting cozy. ]

[He can't! Hurt the babies!!!

But he'll copy Dazai and start gently picking them up to set them by the treats. Free him from his kitten-blanket.]

[ mew mew mew

a couple of them are trying to cling on so he'll have to pull their nails out before plopping them on one of their siblings. WRESTLING TIME. ]

[KITTEN WRESTLING

Once Chuuya is free of the kittens he'll finally sit up and inspect all the little claw marks on his arm.]

They're cute, but they're so sharp.

[ Passing over some toys for Chuuya to use. ]

So they are like you then.

[ Chuuya can be pretty pricky. ]

Except I'm not cute.

[He's not small and fluffy, don't @ him

He'll take those toys though. He can play with small kittens as long as he isn't covered in them.]

[ He is small.

Time to pick up one of the kittens. ]

You hear that? Chuuya doesn't want to be complimented.

[ Laying the kitten on their back in his lap. The kitten will immediately grab for his hand to try to kick and chomp on it. ]

Compliment the kitten instead, I'm sure it'll like it.

[He is decidedly not looking at Dazai, and is reaching out to pet one of the kittens.]

[ Is someone embarrassed? ]

The kitten isn't the one I'm dating.

[ Grabbing a toy mouse to drop it on the kitten's stomach. ]

The one you're dating isn't going to listen to your compliments!

[That's the first time he's said the word 'date', wow.]

[ Progress. ]

Didn't you want to be my favorite, Chuuya?

[ He's having fun with this. He's going to put the kitten down with the others. ]

[This is spoken off-handedly.]

You already said I'm your favorite, so you can't take that back.

When did I ever say that? I think Chuuya is getting ahead of himself.

[ He does curl a finger to a come over here gesture. ]

Remember when we were hanging out with Akira? You totally said it!

[HE IS SUSPICIOUS but sure he'll scoot a little closer.]

All I said was that Akira was the favorite instead. You decided it all by yourself, Chuuya.

[ Implying isn't the same as saying it. He does grab Chuuya's shirt to pull him closer to steal a kiss though. ]

[That sure is a kiss.

And Chuuya is shoving him away after >T]

Whatever. I don't need to be your favorite anyway. I'm my own favorite, and that's what counts.

[ He's shoved, and he's snickering at that. ]

Don't want the kittens seeing?

[ Studying him for a moment. ]

I'll consider saying it if you ask me to.
