POPULATION: 37 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

Right, right. I gotta get ahold of myself...! Just because she's around her own kind doesn't mean she'd abandon me...!

I just want to point out that what I said did not sound nearly that supportive.

Just Natalie, and I prefer honesty, so...

[Honesty, eternal bluntness, same thing.]

[She makes a face.]

I don't have any.

[concasse]

You really think that? I find it refreshing to talk to you.

[She reminds him of someone from the castle, to be honest]

[A few seconds pass, before:]

Uh, why? I don't think refreshing is the first word that comes to mind when most people think of me.

[concasse]

Well... you remind me of a few people, I guess... back where I came from.

[A pause, but hey, he'll be honest]

One young lady and I would always share a drink before complaining about the bullshit of the castle, and she had a very no-nonsense, blunt perspective I always appreciated.

[successives]

[After a second:]

Hey, if it gets me a free drink now and then, I guess I'm not going to complain. [...] You could use better standards, though.

[concasse]

not sure what to make of that last statement, and so just pauses, looking rather sad, before he perks himself back up]

Oi now, I'd say I'm getting rather lucky~! Unfortunately, the only drinks I have available are the ones me and someone else have made from scratch, if you don't mind taste-testing what mead is like.

[She tilts her head.]

That's... kind of like wine, right?

[concasse]

Aa, like a sweet-ass wine.

I'm not a huge fan of sweet shit, but even I gotta say that stuff tastes good.
