Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins. |

Perhaps you could trick them with food. [ i can't believe they're considering this. ] Would they learn to develop the habit?

They do seem to know when to come close because food may be at hand, don't they? I wonder... We do have a week with these fellows, here! We could easily see for ourselves, couldn't we?

We could. With how many fish there are, at least one of them might learn.

Mm, you're right! The more there are, the higher the chances of one of them having a bigger brain, haha. We can use lids from the kitchen as hoops for them to jump through!

[TIME TO FIND LIDS. Is there a kitchen on this side of the portal that they can raid?? That'd be so much easier.]
Maybe we can train them to come up out of the water a certain height if they want food? So we can pet them!

a tube? if only they knew soccer. ]

[ not that he's against the idea of touching a live fish, he likes to eat them, but it seems weird. ]

Most things like to be pet, don't they? Some creatures are ornery, but on a whole, I'd say it's a universal enjoyment!
[Surely fish are the same?? Maybe... He reaches into the water on a whim like he wants to try petting one then and there but of course they all dart away from the sudden movement.]

Until here most animals attacked me whenever I went to pet them.

Ah, right, right. They don't get along with me often, either!
[Because he torments them??? He carries rabbits around by their ears and threatens to eat them??? And yet he says this like he is just an innocent victim of random animal hate. Tragic.]
But if you can bribe them well, even the sourest animal will eventually let you pet them.

...I've heard there are just some people out there that have an energy animals don't like, but I never thought it had any basis in reality, you know.

that aside, though, is what comes out of his mouth. like... ??? what is he supposed to say about that? it's not like it's an insult (he's just stating facts and he can't be fussed about that), but it doesn't leave a lot of room for commentary now does it? ]
