Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins. |

Mm, that's true. Hah, I suppose they'll live to swim another day.
[ he's teasing. but he certainly wouldn't mind just relaxing by the water, enjoying the day ]
no subject
I've never seen fish like these.
no subject
It's different in your home? [ he probably recognizes some of them but hell if I know a snapper from a salmon ]
no subject
There are only a couple kinds of fish. None of them look like this... That I know of.
But maybe in areas I've never been to before.
no subject
[ look at him be knowledgeable about fish ]

[ tonbo, 100% out here advocating for book stealing: ]

I can't stop thinking about how many materials for alchemy I would want to experiment. Materials from other worlds would have to have some interesting traits, don't you think?
no subject
I would certainly assume so-! [ actually hey, hold on I don't think they ever talked about the alchemy thing? hewwo? ]
How does it work, your.... alchemy was it?
no subject
Um... The easiest way to explain it to people whose worlds don't have it... Is that it's like cooking, but you can synthesize all kinds of items from all kinds of materials - not just food. Like bombs, or medicine, or tools, or weapons.
... You can also make food, though.
no subject
I see..... that must be incredibly useful.
[ ngl he's imagining escha creating incredibly cute bombs and grinning as she beans an enemy with it ]
I have no personal experience with such abilities but it must make travel easier. [ all the things you wouldn't need to bring because you could make it on the go...... wow. imagine. ]
no subject
[ she nods enthusiastically!! ]
I've made shoes to make me go faster so that when I'm traveling by foot it doesn't take as much time. And we even made an airship, so that we could travel even further!
no subject
How wonderful...! I can certainly see how much of that would help. My, now even I'm curious what could be made with foreign items.....
no subject
I can't stop thinking about it!!!
no subject
We'll have to do our best to find a way for you to experiment...!
[ let!! escha!! alchemize!! ]
If not now, then I certainly hope we discover a way to cross dimensions like those at the village did.
no subject
I've actually been thinking a lot about trying to make an item to travel between dimensions. Once I have the ability to, of course.
no subject
That would be wonderful....! I certainly know I would love the others when all of this is done and over.
[ he has people to punch and maybe tuck under his arm and take home if thot memshares / lore is anything to go by. also, everyone needs to come see them be idols? ]
no subject
I can't promise I'll be able to manage it... But it'd be a fun project, anyway.
no subject
Mm! It will certainly be advantageous to us if you succeed.
