Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins.

I do not see how anyone could have helped the weather - although it would have been nice to allow them to roam in the parts of camp that were not covered in fog.

Maybe not the tigers, though. Unless you had like a leash so they didn't run off and attack someone.

For as long as it will put up with this, yes. You could give it a try too, you know. This one really does seem quite friendly!

When you've had enough petting, I'll give it a try.

[luckily, the tiger seems pretty okay with it. which is probably why it's in the petting zoo to begin with.]

See? It is quite relaxing, is it not?

It's not bad. It's more chilled out than I thought it would be.

I wonder if it has a name...?

[she's just going to search the enclosure to see if it's got a nametag somewhere... nope]

I did see one. The directors said the rabbits have names, so maybe they're unofficially named the other animals too.

Oh! Maybe we can ask them what it is, then.

I'll put it on my to-do list.

[she's about to thank him, but then her brows furrow slightly]

No? I mean I don't really mind if we know the tiger's name or not. But if I run into the directors in the wild I can ask them.
