Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins. |

Let's see... [ there's lots of food around, and from the bins nearby, it's easy enough to tell what animals should get what. ] It seems like a similar diet to horses, actually. Hays, grasses, vegetables, fruits... and a lot of it. I can see why Black Shadows could use the help.

[ he's going to carefully pick the squirrel up off his shoulder and set it down on a fence post, then look toward the food bins. ]
There should be buckets somewhere. We can use those to bring more food for them.
no subject
Right—could you grab a few buckets for the fruit? I can get the hay.
[ he is just gonna pick up one of these huge bales. at least he's used to something with a horse's appetite, though that's not true of anything like the squirrels and rabbits. ]
You seem quite comfortable around animals, Ookurikara.

[ DISMISSES THAT RATHER EASILY, and goes right to fetch a bucket. he fills it to the brim with fruits and vegetables, as much as it will hold before bringing it back. ]
They'll just eat from the bucket, right?

I believe so, though I've never actually encountered an elephant before—
[ and right on cue, one trots clumsily over to peruse the Goods. Dimitri blinks at it, totally surprised. he's... not sure what he's even looking at. ]
What manner of creature is this... is that it's nose?
no subject
but then the elephant comes up, and kara stares at it in surprise as it just picks up a small bunch of hay with its... nose? what? ]
...Strange. [ he's never seen anything like it before? it's like... a hairless horse with a long nose. ] So it can pick things up for itself, huh.
no subject
So it would seem... What a perfectly odd creature.
[ It looks heavy-set too, not unlike a horse. Another one lumbers up to Kara, its ears flopping about as it sniffs him curiously. ]
They seem friendly enough, at least.

...It's sort of like a horse, isn't it? Just an odd one.
