WEEK THREE: MINGLE

Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of walking down memory lane, it seems the theater and the portal aren't the only places to relive some fond memories... or revisit ones that are better left in the past. Yes, it's memshare week. It doesn't matter if you cover yourself up from head to toe, or pirouette away from anyone who might make physical contact with you. Simple proximity OR eye contact is enough to get the ball rolling. As soon as this simple condition is met, you will find yourself reliving the other party's memories from their point of view. These memories can either be canon memories, or memories from the game they were previously in. Regardless of what the case may be, this effect will last until Week 4 officially begins. Have fun, everyone! |

[though as they head down the hallway, it'll open up to a room full of tanks that go as tall as the ceiling.]
Oh... Let's stay here.
[lili, the mission.]
no subject
[ good thing kara doesn't care where they do this lmao. he looks over the room, and nods toward a set of carpeted stairs that couple of people are lounging on to watch the fish. ]
Over there?
no subject
[and she'll move to sit with him on the carpeted steps. she can't help but be a little bit distracted by all the water and fish, the colorful coral...
they're not going back to the camp right away.]
Oh - so we use the whiteboards and write our answers to the question and we want them to match.
So... [she goes to get a question]
'When it comes to dancing, would your husband wait for the slow dance, would he get on the dance floor when it’s time for the fast moves, or would he just sit them all out?'
[ . . . ]
We've never danced together though, have we?
[she'll reach for the whiteboard anyway]
no subject
No. The village had that party, but we left without dancing.
[ after he's written his answer, he glances up questioningly. ]
Did you want to?
no subject
[she turns her white board around
'wouldn't dance unless it's with me'
she's so cocky]
no subject
Then we will, if it comes up.
no subject
that makes her so disgustingly happy. it's one thing to know, it's another to have it confirmed.]
.... Okay.
no subject
well anyway, ]
"Of all the bridesmaids, your wife had in the wedding, how many were relatives?"
[ . . . ]
What's a bridesmaid?
no subject
... a maid for the bride? Like attendants...?
[that said if it's asking how many would be relatives
she writes down her answer
and easily flips it to a big honking 'zero'
why would lili associate with her family, and why would they be her attendants]
no subject
You have attendants, but they aren't family. Right?
no subject
Two. Ayura and Tetora - they're not related to me, no. [even though they take better care of her than her father anyway] My only family is my father and mother, anyway.
Hmm...
"What is the most likely thing each of us could end up in jail for?"
[ . . . . she looks a little amused as she goes to write on her whiteboard]
no subject
That's what I thought.
[ the question makes him frown, though? jail has never even been a consideration for him. it's only after a moment of hesitation that he writes down his answers. ]
...I'm not sure about this one.
no subject
[like
why would you ever put a sword in jail. meanwhile lili, exiled and made into a war prisoner:
she turns her board
'wrongful imprisonment by an enemy country
kara would end up in jail trying to help me break out
(we'd still break out)']
no subject
"lili: stealing the water tribe seal again
me: trying to change history"
but he still nods at hers because yeah, that sounds right, too. ]
no subject
Can you get imprisoned for time crimes?
no subject
[ which. he doesn't want lili to think too hard about so mOVING ON ]
Should we do another one?
[1/2]
no subject
Hmph.
I guess so... It's your question next, right?
no subject
[ he's looking for the next question, but. what. he's done nothing wrong. ]
no subject
I don't like the sound of it.
[take more issue with the history changing part]
no subject
[ probably ]
"Which is our most favorite shared hobby?"
[ oh well that's too easy ]
no subject
[but she'll move to sit closer to him anyway, because it's easier for her to be reassured when he's closer.
and she'll write her answer down, and then flip it back -
'sparring or cooking'
she actually isn't sure if sparring is a hobby but if it is?]
no subject
and he nods. ]
That's three. So we win.
no subject
she looks very pleased and leans up to kiss his cheek]
Near perfect.
[they have time to get to actually perfect, probably.]
no subject
Do the misses it count if either of us doesn't know what the question means?
