POPULATION: 35 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of walking down memory lane, it seems the theater and the portal aren't the only places to relive some fond memories... or revisit ones that are better left in the past. Yes, it's memshare week. It doesn't matter if you cover yourself up from head to toe, or pirouette away from anyone who might make physical contact with you. Simple proximity OR eye contact is enough to get the ball rolling. As soon as this simple condition is met, you will find yourself reliving the other party's memories from their point of view. These memories can either be canon memories, or memories from the game they were previously in. Regardless of what the case may be, this effect will last until Week 4 officially begins. [Damian pauses thoughtfully after erasing the bunny's board, and then starts writing an answer, careful of any of the thousand damn bees who try to crawl over the expanse of the board.

Then he puts the board down in front of Bunnibel, turned to show the answer.]

Carrot cake.

[ dick turns his board around. it reads "my carrot"

[HE HATES DICK SO MUCH AAAAAAAA. Dick just scolded him for being a gremlin! This is where he gets it from. Damian visibly closes his eyes for a second or so. He's ten, and he's exhausted.]

Those two aren't in any way relatable. But fine.

[He thinks about the questions a moment, bringing the board back. Is "If your spouse were to describe you as a superhero, who would it be?" cheating? He starts writing an answer on the white board.]

"Where did you take your spouse on your first date?"

[ it was a very real gremlin scolding which is why dick was a gremlin right back. tho, hm. Dick writes something quickly after thinking about it before turning it around. ]

"IHOP".

[ dick, you absolutely aren't funny. ]

[Dick, you are absolutely NOT funny at all. Damian turns around the board, face flat.

It says, "IHOP."]

Why didn't you take Bunnibel to the circus?

I try not to drop my backstory on people on the first date. [ he looks a little wry. he tries not to drop his backstory much at all, unlike damian "I WAS A TEST TUBE BABY" wayne, apparently. ] Plus, I wouldn't want to intimidate her with hare-raising thrills.

Nah, Bunnibel would defend me, obviously. She's great with bees. [ he can say that because there are about ten on her at all times, just kind of. trying to find invisible pollen. bees are so fucking dumb ]

Yeah, they like bright colors. It'll be fine. [ he very gently moves bunnibel to dismiss some bees. bees, please. this is not about you. anyway he picks one that is relatively easy, for cheating purposes: ] Is your spouse a morning or night person?

[Damian simply gives Dick a look. It feels like he's being toyed with, honestly. He's tempted to be mean and write something off the wall, but...

Begrudgingly, he turns the white board over after he's written his answer. Dick is up all night all the time.]

This means Bunnibel is a morning person, doesn't it?

[ sometimes you just want easy answers, damian, god. not everything is a trap. night was clearly the right one, but damian's question seems to catch dick off guard ]

Well... It's true for some things, but you can't have a lasting relationship if you're too incompatible for one another. [ babysitting is the real trap, because dick has to think about it. ] And I think rabbits are crepuscular, technically speaking.

That. Well, it's more of a ... moral incompatibility. [ for good reason, dick doesn't add, because he does not want to outright insult talia despite the fact that she is clearly. terrible. ] That can affect platonic relationships, never mind romantic ones.

I'm not. As much as I might not like it, Bruce definitely cares for Talia. [ he says nothing about talia's side of things, because. what the fuck even goes on, there. ] Yes, there are a lot of reasons they're not together, but the core of it lies there. [ in their respective morals. or. lack thereof. ]

[Hmmm. He peers at the plush rabbit, gaze strong but thoughtful.]

I was hoping it would be different in your timeline, [he admits, sounding disappoint.] That Mother would be a different kind of person.

[That maybe Talia would have not been total garbage on the love front.]

[ dick is quiet, for a bit, ruminating that. dick wishes Talia was a different kind of person, too. still; ]

... I don't know how it went in your timeline. [ Damian's birth, yes, but anything between Talia and Bruce, no, which is as much as he can give Damian, and so: ] Bruce only broke things off with her when she refused to choose him over Ra's, but she's never been able to hurt him. He's called her bluff on it more than once, honestly.

[ he tilts his head back. that's all well and good, but... ]

I can't tell you if that makes her different or not.

I don't believe it does.

[Damian isn't sure what to make of that, though. Does his mother love them, or doesn't she? Are they just the stepping stones to a goal? She loves them as long as they benefit her, maybe.

He doesn't want to consider it. He might be disappointed again.]
