POPULATION: 35 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of walking down memory lane, it seems the theater and the portal aren't the only places to relive some fond memories... or revisit ones that are better left in the past. Yes, it's memshare week. It doesn't matter if you cover yourself up from head to toe, or pirouette away from anyone who might make physical contact with you. Simple proximity OR eye contact is enough to get the ball rolling. As soon as this simple condition is met, you will find yourself reliving the other party's memories from their point of view. These memories can either be canon memories, or memories from the game they were previously in. Regardless of what the case may be, this effect will last until Week 4 officially begins. [ otherwise people wouldn't constantly be yelling at her about her lack of a love-life??? ]

[you get the distinct impression he's blushing underneath it. it takes another moment, before he finally, resolutely says:]

Which would your husband prefer: guns, or swords.

[he has officially had it with this game.]

It's a little tempting to get it wrong on purpose.

[ And she laughs a little at the idea. And for an entirely different reason, hesitates, like she's distracted by a thought... But she will be good and write down "Swords." ]

[he flips his: "swords."

flinging the whiteboard and its pen to the side, he grabs Escha's free wrist.]

Come on. Let's get out of here. Maybe we can find somewhere without any of these... children.

[unlikely, as they are TAILING them]

Are we running from little kids...?

Argh! They're gaining on us!

[they are definitely running from little kids.]

[he kicks open a door labelled MAGICAL CASTMEMBERS ONLY, and drags Escha in behind, essentially kabedonning her as he shuts it, leaning against it.

this might be cute, if. you know. the mascot heads.]

Hah!

[ THE HEADS ARE SO BIG THAT THEY PROBABLY BUMP INTO EACH OTHER, THIS IS NOT GIVING HER A SINGLE DOKI ]

Are we safe?

[ I mean. they were never in danger. ]

[he locks the door, and turns around.

they're in a... well, it's a breakroom. just a staff breakroom. there's a microwave, some shelves and drawers, cutlery, a fridge, a sink... various half-finished containers of drygoods with names written on them in a sharpie litter the counter. in the middle of the room is two folding tables, pushed together to form a square, and a number of folding chairs.

he hucks his head off, dropping it on the ground without fanfare.]

We can eat here.

[what a romantic.]

[ I hate it, but staff breakroom lunches are usually very romantic to Escha. Because. Gestures at Eschatology.

Escha also pulls her mascot head off, but with a bit of a struggle. She manages, though! ]

It's really warm in those things. Which is kind of nice with the weather we've been having.

but at least asch sets to work cleaning off the table, putting trash in the can, dishes in the sink... being generally domestic without being asked. quite quickly, the room is becoming much cleaner.]

Agreed. It's truly getting miserable.

I wonder if that's to do with us, as well. Is it going through the seasons?

[he's. sweeping now. he really doesn't need to do this.]

[ She reflexively starts to help out... Escha's not great at cleaning up after herself unprompted when it's her own space... But for some reason it's much easier to default into cleaning up after other people. Plus she'd feel bad just watching.

So. Here they are, doing chores. ]

That's a good theory. I guess we'll see if the pattern holds next week.

[getdrekt]

[since it's two of them, and a pretty short space, they... wrap it up pretty fast. still, asch grabs a cloth, and starts wiping the counters, then the table down, as a final finishing touch.]

I guess so.

[...he. sighs.]

Ready to eat?

[ Once he's done wiping the table, Escha starts setting it so they can eat comfortably. ]

What are you sighing for?

[ Eating is the thing she's been looking forward to the most since this started, how can he be sighing?! ]

Huh?

[she looks? disappointed?? he raises his eyebrows, and looks behind him, like, maybe it's someone back there???]

Nothing. [...] Come on, let's eat this and get back.

[ASCH? YOUR RELAXING??]

Oookaaaay.

[She takes a seat and... Waits for him to start eating first. To be polite! And also when he looks back her way and they make eye contact... Have a memshare. Of Escha dealing 1.32 million damage to a mini-boss. Fun! ]

he blinks. and reaches for a sandwich.]

[ Yay eating. Escha's 2nd favorite thing. ]
