POPULATION: 35 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of walking down memory lane, it seems the theater and the portal aren't the only places to relive some fond memories... or revisit ones that are better left in the past. Yes, it's memshare week. It doesn't matter if you cover yourself up from head to toe, or pirouette away from anyone who might make physical contact with you. Simple proximity OR eye contact is enough to get the ball rolling. As soon as this simple condition is met, you will find yourself reliving the other party's memories from their point of view. These memories can either be canon memories, or memories from the game they were previously in. Regardless of what the case may be, this effect will last until Week 4 officially begins. They are. Mostly in that there aren't abilities tied to the things here. Too simple to buy.

You say that, but I'd believe it if you said there was some advantage to it.

There's a ton of them at the petting zoo. Been over there yet?

[getdrekt]

No. I'm not going to touch one until you show me it.

[gatonina]

...I will literally walk you over to the petting zoo and show you if that's what you mean.

[getdrekt]

Fine. Put up a "back in five minutes" sign or something.

[gatonina]

...[sigh.] Alright, alright. [give them a moment to do just that.] You can keep up, can't you?

[because right after that, they begin to walk!! come along, asch. the petting zoo waits for no one.]

[and they are tippytapping over to petting zoo land!!! wow, there's just so many dang animals here. including dogs. and cats.

Asch gestures.]

[so many!! but they approach the fence, laughing under their breath as they move and scoop up a small fuzzy kitten in their hands, one arm curling to support the cat and the other to scratch under its chin and pet around its ears.]

See? Simple.

[getdrekt]

[he picks up a kitty and

holds it out, staring at it.]

This one is too young. I've only been scratched by the older ones.

[the kitten

chomps on his finger.]

Ow! Why you--!

[gatonina]

[they're trying not to laugh, sorry asch.]

Oh come on, don't blame him. He's probably just playing. [that, or animals don't like asch. one of the two.]

They have teeth like needles!

[he more or less balls the kitten up in his hand, covering it with his other one. it goes 'nya' very cutely.

asch frowns at it.]

What do you have to cry about, hm?

[asch...]

Just don't bite back and see where that gets you. [the cat doesn't seem ready to bolt, at least.]

[it doesn't! it does another nya.

and cheerfully chomps him, licking and nomming his fingers.]

...This is exactly what I'm talking about. Completely unprovoked.

Where are the adults. I'm sure one will scratch me as soon as I look askance at it.

[gatonina]

Maybe it's something to do with your temperament. Animals can sense when people are rude or uncertain.

[getdrekt]

...And which are you suggesting I am?

The latter, I think.

he flips the kitten on to its back. it throws its little paws into the air.

asch pats it confidently on its little tum.




the kitten wraps all limbs around his hand, and does a chomp.]

Look. Look at this.

I was certain, too!

That's how kittens play, man. They're kind of aggressive little things, but you just have to be patient with them. [Asch...] Besides, I think I'd do the same thing if someone flipped me over without warning.

[getdrekt]

[he's extracting his hand. there's a series of pleased nyas.]

How do you even know about cats? You're an ephemeral construct.

I've done research in the past. Not to mention I've learned quite a bit from observing others. It's a smart way to overcome weaknesses.

[getdrekt]

Hah. What else have you researched? Show me.

[he's gesturing at. animals.]

Can you make a dog bring the stick back and drop it?

[gatonina]

Like...playing fetch? Yeah, definitely. Got a stick? I can teach you.

[getdrekt]

Not on me, idiot! Do I look like a dog?!
