Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of walking down memory lane, it seems the theater and the portal aren't the only places to relive some fond memories... or revisit ones that are better left in the past. Yes, it's memshare week. It doesn't matter if you cover yourself up from head to toe, or pirouette away from anyone who might make physical contact with you. Simple proximity OR eye contact is enough to get the ball rolling. As soon as this simple condition is met, you will find yourself reliving the other party's memories from their point of view. These memories can either be canon memories, or memories from the game they were previously in. Regardless of what the case may be, this effect will last until Week 4 officially begins. Have fun, everyone! |

when Zenitsu shrieks and lunges for safety, Minako can't help but let her instincts take over. and her instincts say "beat the diving thing off with whatever you have on hand." so.
Minako grabs their ~romantic gift basket~ and swings it at the bird. the contents go flying in various directions. the bird is temporarily deterred, but also not punted. shame. ]
Shoo! Shoo!
[ the bird coos angrily and dives for Minako's grains of rice. this honeymoon is off to a great start! ]
no subject
dry food flies everywhere, including at him. a piece of fruit bounces off his head and rolls to the floor, unnoticed by the bird and newlywed couple both.
looking over his shoulder, Zenitsu spots the frightening bird in time to jump up and tackle Minako onto the seats with a shout. the bird dives overhead. he looks on in horror. ]
Monster bird!
no subject
[ cool, she'll just lie here, being smothered by the carriage cushions. it's fine.
haha, not. she's sprawled a bit awkwardly, thanks to Zenitsu's heroic efforts, but there's still one hand free that can grope around for something. and... eventually... her fingers brush against something.......... but it's going to take another turn for her to grasp it. good luck, Zenitsu! fight-o! ]
no subject
Ouch! Ouch! Get off of me!
[ seeing as he's the easier target, the bird picks at the rice grains on Zenitsu's body. still, he shields Minako in some effort to be protective. ]
no subject
anyways: ]
Zenitsu-san, duck!
[ oh, so that's where the eraser board was! Minako's going to use it for something besides fun and games and wallop the bird with it.
... Zenitsu, she really hopes you ducked. because there's no stopping this train once it's left the station. ]
no subject
fortunately, he's ducked to make himself small to the bird, so Minako strikes a home run with the eraser board. out goes the bird of the carriage. goodbye.
all Zenitsu hears is a strange thunk. ]
Huh?
no subject
[ she hefts the board with one hand, patting Zenitsu's head with the other. ]
I hope the carriage starts moving soon... There's only so many birds I can take.
[ maybe it's waiting for them to be seated in "upright position"? ]
no subject
the bird seems to have given up. gingerly, Zenitsu crawls off of Minako to sit down next to her. ]
Who's driving?
no subject
[ she looks ahead, where the carriage driver would be sitting. she doesn't see any reins or anything, so they're probably not the ones meant to be driving... but how-
and then the carriage lurches into motion. all by itself. ]
Oh, a ghost, I guess.
no subject
G-ghost? Hey, where are we going?
no subject
Minako just picks through some of the debris. ooo, cookies... ]
We'll know when we get there, I guess? Hey, I think this stuff is still edible. Want one?
no subject
food picked like this isn't the cleanest, but he takes it, because it's from Minako. ]
What's that game we're supposed to play?
no subject
Let's see... "The Newlywed Game"?
[ huh ]
It looks like a quiz game... do you see a list of questions anywhere?
no subject
This?
Last time we played a quiz game, I didn't get a single answer right.
[ he does not know how much wood a woodchuck would chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. ]
no subject
[ she takes the list, patting his head absently again as she scans it over. there, there. there's more to life than bird knowledge. ]
Well, I think we'll be on more even footing this time. We have to answer questions about each other.
[ and she doesn't know her new spouse that well, so... ]
no subject
So once we go to the place we're supposed to be, we'll ask questions until we get three right? That doesn't sound too bad.
no subject
[ her favorite thing! ]
Where do you think we'll end up, anyways? A beach would be nice...
[ the trees do not seem to be thinning though. and is the carriage slowing...? ]
no subject
a beach does sound relaxing, but there are still trees a plenty when the carriage comes to a stop. Zenitsu, who's closer to the door, gets up to open it. ]
It's . . .
[ it's a park. ]
no subject
[ maybe that's what the mini blanket in the basket is for. ]
Here, lets salvage what we can and make a picnic out of it!
[ how nice, their only opponents will be the ants... right? ]
no subject
this time, he's got the travel guide! he looks down at it and squints. ]
I can't read this at all.
no subject
[ what is she hoping for? they're both Japanese ]
Ah, me neither...
[ ... ]
Guess that means we're on our own! Exciting, isn't it? Come on, I think I see a nice spot under that tree over there.
no subject
You're right. Let's go there, then!
[ far away in the distance, the birds pick up a whiff of rice. ]
no subject
I wonder how far we are from the camp... The weather is so much nicer here!
[ perfectly picturesque, unlike the rain they left behind. she'll link arms with Zenitsu as they amble over... ]
Oh, Zenitsu-san, there's some rice behind your ear. Hold still...
no subject
Y-y-yes!
[ it's a miracle he doesn't fall over and take her with him. ]
no subject
anyways, she flicks the grain of rice away, already looking away as the birds descend upon the food... ]
All done. Now here, you take these corners of the blanket, and I'll take the others.
