POPULATION: 30 Good morning, Camp Gatonina. The weather continues to be terrible, snow and snow and more snow as far as the eye can see. You all know what's coming, and you all know it means you have to stand outside until the spectacle is over. So why not grab your coat before you're forced out into cold? At 9AM, two hours after the bugle call for breakfast, you will be drawn to the bonfire. Your body will move of its own volition, giving you little to no time to pick up any sort of protection. As you approach the bonfire, you will find that you are not the only one. The Camp Directors and NHS seem to be marching to the same rhythm as the rest of you, their movements stiff as they approach from the direction of the Isolation Cabin. Once everyone has gathered in the same location, you will hear a voice that is recognized by none. "Ohhhh, you actually caught one? You gotta be raring to go in that case. Nie Huaisang, get you ass in here." NHS will be forced to approach the fire, as everyone else takes several steps back to form something of an impromptu fighting ring around the bonfire. "As for your opponent... Oh, I know. Taako, y'know, from the Movies? Show us how it's done." Similarly to NHS, Taako will be forced to approach the fire. Those in the audience will find themselves rooted to the spot, and the participants of the execution will hit an invisible barrier three feet away from the rest of the group if they try to escape. In his dominant hand, Taako will find a 20-sided dice... though three of the sides are now blank. You're all old pros at this. It goes without saying that it's time for the execution to begin.

[ as usual, majima stands stock still as he watches the proceedings, even if he winces when the fuckin pens show up. but he remains silent, hands tucked firmly into the crooks of his elbows as he crosses his arms with a stony, single-eyed glance.

it would probably be a lot more somber if he didn't look like this right now.

[PEN BATTLE SURE IS HAPPENING HUH. He glances back when he feels her eyes on him, quiet, but distinctly displeased.]

she's crying again, so. that's fine. she only meets his gaze for a second before looking back at the execution, pulling her jacket closer. ]

[he wanted an easy fucking death, that's all, of course he gets this.

but as taako circles, huaisang watches him. he's not a first-moves type either, clutching the pen close despite how much he hates this, shifting a little closer but not moving in fully. still evaluating, more than anything, his brow knit.]

It really couldn't have been someone who could manage it, that'd be too easy on us both.

[ he made sure to be at her side when they'd gotten locked in place—even as yin yu shows his support, he lets her know he's here, too.

he bumps her shoulder lightly with his own. ]

[ ash is also here, in a different jacket, hands in his pockets just watching the goings on. he frowns harder when the pen comes into play, but doesn't say anything. ]

[just gives him a look that says WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WEARING even though he can't judge with his own stupid three lapel coat]

[ she holds onto yin yu's robes with one hand and reaches to hold onto majima's hand with the other, letting her hair fall in her face. ]

If he kills Taako, Magnus is going to try to kill him. [ beau whispers, eye on the peacocking in front of her. ]

[ Minako's here, her face buried in her scarf as she watches the proceedings unhappily... but when the pens appear, a distinctly queasy look appears on her face. ]

[nothing delights me more than both of the boys lili's love arrowed to standing by her but she's holding hands with flayn

she still gives ash a concerned look, reaching out with her free hand to place it on his arm briefly before dropping it]

I'm not really super interested in a cool battle of wits thing, can we just fucking drop it?

[He's not stupid, he knows he's being goaded into attacking first, but--]

Anyway, you're the guy who was so insistent on wanting to win yesterday, moving the timeline along, but now it's all dragging your feet. Come the fuck on!

[He'd thought about doing a little play acting, playing up how pathetic he is at this, but he doesn't get the feeling that would work on Nie Huaisang. A guy who, in a lot of respects, mirrors himself. Fuck it. He ducks and tries to kick out one of huaisang's knees, suprisingly athletic for like, the laziest guy in camp.]

[ i don't know where they are in relation to each other, but ash is glancing over at him before looking back at twinkoff 2k20 ]

[it's okay!! he's fine!! everything is fine!! Ash gets a stony look in return, followed by a brief, curt nod before Akira too turns back to twinkoff 2k20]
