POPULATION: 30 Good morning, Camp Gatonina. The weather continues to be terrible, snow and snow and more snow as far as the eye can see. You all know what's coming, and you all know it means you have to stand outside until the spectacle is over. So why not grab your coat before you're forced out into cold? At 9AM, two hours after the bugle call for breakfast, you will be drawn to the bonfire. Your body will move of its own volition, giving you little to no time to pick up any sort of protection. As you approach the bonfire, you will find that you are not the only one. The Camp Directors and NHS seem to be marching to the same rhythm as the rest of you, their movements stiff as they approach from the direction of the Isolation Cabin. Once everyone has gathered in the same location, you will hear a voice that is recognized by none. "Ohhhh, you actually caught one? You gotta be raring to go in that case. Nie Huaisang, get you ass in here." NHS will be forced to approach the fire, as everyone else takes several steps back to form something of an impromptu fighting ring around the bonfire. "As for your opponent... Oh, I know. Taako, y'know, from the Movies? Show us how it's done." Similarly to NHS, Taako will be forced to approach the fire. Those in the audience will find themselves rooted to the spot, and the participants of the execution will hit an invisible barrier three feet away from the rest of the group if they try to escape. In his dominant hand, Taako will find a 20-sided dice... though three of the sides are now blank. You're all old pros at this. It goes without saying that it's time for the execution to begin.

[Akira looks exhausted, but like every execution, his expression is stony. it's freezing and he's wearing a heavy hoodie and he pulls it closer around himself to protect himself from the cold as he just. . . watches, stiff and silent]

Taako’s face drops from easy smirk to fear of god in about half a millisecond, looking back at Magnus before he’s forced to walk forward. Then he forces the expression off again, going blank instead. His braid is tied up around the back of his head, his outfit actually fairly subdued for the occasion - apparently someone has been a little bit paranoid about this option happening.

He gives the D20 an odd look, though it’s hard to figure out exactly what it is. Rolling it around in his hand before it tosses it. Whatever he was thinking wasn’t very helpful. It rolls a 1.]

Oh, goddammit. Jeezy fuckin’ creezy. You’ve got to be kidding me?

[He's holding a fountain pen in his hand.]

lili's going to be standing around wearing a red piece of cloth around her shoulders like a shawl, and maybe a familiar oversized jacket that is somehow back in her possession since she threw it yesterday. despite being bundled up again, her expression turns worried.]

[flayn is standing nearby - she seems to have tried to catch up to lili while they were all making their way out here. she glances at her with concern, her shoulders tense. taako being called for executioner doesn't really relax them much.]

[He's also standing off to the side with his arms folded across his chest, watching whatever unfolds with a careful eye. Can't believe he's gotta ditch Nie Huaisang to mentally cheer for the better twink in this pen battle.]

[ dick was stoic up until the fountain pen showed up, and now he's. facepalming ]

[flayn is bundled up in weather-appropriate clothing (thank god) that actually fits her (also thank god, she can return the stuff she's been borrowing from everyone else). but she looks worried when taako gets called up, and her hands come to fiddle nervously with the hem of her jacket.]

[ kara's next to her, and maybe? he has a sweater? under his jacket? who knows. he's missing his usual red waistcoat, but he seems to be more bothered by the dice roll than anything...? ]

[ tonbo is currently burrito’d in the longest scarf you’ve ever seen a a stupidly fluffy sweater but none of that matters because he currently looks like he either wants to lay on the floor or throw himself in there instead. what the heck is he gonna do armed with just a pen? ]

It'd be worse overall if anyone got sick from what we're forced to see. Given the lack of weapons here, it could be worse than before.

[ standing on one side of beau, bundled up properly and masked, even yin yu closes his eyes at the sight of the pen. this is ridiculous.

if she sits, he's here if she needs something to grab onto, or someone to block the view. or anything. ]

[nie huaisang also has his hair up, and he's abandoned his flowier layers-- yes, he's cold, but they're more to grab and more to get in his way. the cold isn't important right now. he doesn't know how much he wants to fight, especially with taako chosen and magnus' axe right there--

but then there's a pen in his hand. he looks down at it, silent briefly, before a soft and very eloquent:]

Shit.

[where is his easier, merciful death! his grip on it tightens as he shakes his head.]

Fine-- fine, then. Listen, if any of you care about last wishes-- get someone to stop looking the other way and heal Beau, already.

...I don't feel like making her fight your friend with the axe if I kill you, but I'm not going to just let you stab me with that thing, either.
