Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place. Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck. |

[THE SUN IS not shining because it's overcast, THE BIRDS ARE maybe singing?? Man I don't know what wildlife is out here except bears and wolves. Anyway, whatever semblance of a peaceful camp morning it is that you're having is about to be RUINED by the sound of?? Something?? Hitting the Leopard Cabin door??? Which is shortly followed by Wei Wuxian tumbling out. Hm. It's fine? He's out and immediately starts to nyoom-hobble away.]
Stay back—!!
[He may or may not make a break for anyone nearby who looks like they'd make a good shield to hide behind...]
[Right after him (though not quite as quickly, for obvious reasons) comes Natalie, trailing after him as fast as her crutches will allow. She's giving her best Scowl as she follows, and it grows as he tries to duck behind somebody else.]
Stop! I'm not going to hurt you, idiot, I just want to talk! [She points one of her crutches towards whoever he might have hid behind, addressing them.] Move. I need him for a second.
[She shifts and looks into Wei Wuxian's eyes. Stares into his soul. Anyways, good luck to anyone who now has to deal with these fools.]
(Order is you > wwx > natalie!)
ii - entertainment room;
[WELL. He'd intended to come here to clean up, but instead he's just. Distracted by the contents of the room itself. What the fck are these gaming consoles?? HE'S ANCIENT. He can be found patting and poking around at a few of them, taking VHS tapes and DVDs out of their cases (the latter of which he puts on his fingers like we all did as kids), and rifling through the game and movie collection. RANDY HIS ZOMBIES.]
I thought they'd really have something about the living dead in here, you know? Especially with all of those posters on the bus...
[He sounds Distinctly Disappointed.]
wildcard;
[U KNOW THE DRILL hmu for tasks, pcs, anything ur lil demon heart desires]
i
he steps away. good luck, wei wuxian.]

Anyway since Belph is the first person he's seeing this week that means he does not yet know about the touch curse, which means he's REACHING OUT TO GRAB HOLD OF BELPH'S SHIRT AND BELPH GETS A BIG OLD WHOPPIN' DOSE OF - mostly amusement, honestly, and a gross sappy fondness.]
How could you abandon me in my time of need—! After all the alcohol I shared with you...!

Not you, too--!! Ah, fate is cruel...
[What if he just flops over on the spot like a wilting victorian maiden. He's doing it.]

Wei Wuxian looks very baffled about the cover of this VHS tape, though. WHO HERE IS A ZOMBIE. THIS ISN'T WHAT GHOSTS LOOK LIKE. He's tired of Hollywood already.]

[WHY IS HE ALWAYS STUCK WITH THE FOOLS WHO DON'T DO THEIR CHORES. (Says Yasusada, also a fool who doesn't do his chores)
But he also tilts his head.]
Haven't you seen enough of those already? You already know what they look like.
no subject
I wanted to see what they looked like through the lens of a camera, though! These movies are all so... gratuitous.

...Plenty of these things are entertaining! There are games to play and movies to watch, and you can dodge things, too!
