Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place. Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck. |

KNOCK IT THE FUCK OFF.
[ chuuya's the smaller of the two so he's easier to collar nudge away, probably. ]
We don't know shit about anything because we keep failing to figure anything out, let's not kid the fuck around here. Fighting about it ain't gonna solve or change shit so take a damn walk, both of you.
no subject
Chuuya does try to shrug himself away from Ash, though.]
Fuck that! Someone needs to knock some sense into her!
no subject
No one's knocking anything into anyone.
Let a woman grieve, you don't get to tell her when to stop even if you don't agree with what went down this weekend. That's not your damn call.
I said take a walk.
no subject
Fuck you! Fuck all of you! I went through the same fucking thing she did, so why does she get special treatment?! Because she's moping instead of trying to actually deal with things?!
no subject
[ dammit chuuya. ]
Don't police how people cope with grief? And don't let anyone police how you cope with grief either??
But this isn't the damn time or place. [ quite literally? both of you can fight it out outside whatever the hell you want just don't do it here ]
no subject
[But he does get to cart Chuuya around, since Chuuya small. So yeah, he and Minako can work together to drag Chuuya outside.]
no subject
anyway enjoy being wrangled out of the mess hall chuuya. it's fine. ]

I said take a walk, Beau.
no subject
well, yin yu and maybe zen are stopping her, so. ]
no subject
no subject
so! in his usual yin yu manner, he appears behind her with almost no warning, no presence, and gets a strong arm underneath her punching arm, crossing to her shoulder to pull her back, using his other arm to grab on, too. ]
--Lady Beau. [ it's crisp and sharp, but not nearly as laden with fury; his own emotions radiate back crystal clear and calm, even with the feedback anger on her end. ]
no subject
and she struggles against his grip, but the way he has her in his hold hurts her back, and she wheezes with it. it just takes a couple of seconds for her to stop trying to get out of his hold, and just goes limp, breathing harshly. ]
no subject
tears prick the corner of his eyes anyway, though, a very unusual feeling, and he takes a step back. it is only when beau goes limp that his hold loosens, just enough to give her some room to move, so there's no pressure on an injury, though yin yu won't fully let her go.
he's not even going to bother trying to keep her in this mess hall. there's no point. ] Come on. [ he says, quietly, taking a step back with her, and then another, trying to absorb every emotion she's throwing in his direction, pushing them down, and radiating back his own sense of calm. there's worry, too, threaded into it, but mostly he's just trying to project it back; your heart is still as water, your heart is still as water.
they need to get out of this situation to deescalate as quickly as possible. ]

all the while, he's collecting every emotion beau can hit him with. there are so many threads of it to untangle that it's beyond him, but yin yu doesn't acknowledge them as they hit, each one more intense than the last, walking them both out of the mess hall and around the corner into the morning light. ]
Beau. [ no title, this time. ] Take a deep breath with me, exhale when I tell you. [ because if he needs this, trying to cope with beau's wild storm, he can only just empathize with how badly she must.
yin yu inhales and pushes all of it down. like water lapping at the surface of a shore, he draws in as much of the negativity and anger as he can and pulls it back in with the rest. even after that rapid, intense storm, yin yu's own emotions are still. ] --Exhale. [ and repeats the process. in, and out. feed the anger and the hurt in, and get calm clarity in return. no matter how long it takes. ]
no subject
when he stops her and tries to get her to breathe, she nods, because she can't, she can't do it on her own. she's panicky and lightheaded, but the directions help. she closes her eyes and holds onto yin yu tightly, trying to follow.
it'll take a while, but... with both his and zen's help, if zen's here, she'll calm down. ]
no subject
he can feel beau starting to calm down with it, too. slowly but surely, he keeps radiating out as much calm as he can, to slow the tide. he'll stay out here with her leading her through breathing exercises for hours, if that's what it takes.
they can address what happened later. for now, all that matters is coming down. ]
no subject
B-Beau, no!
no subject
his fear makes her stop, though. she just looks at him, and stops fighting, tears dripping down her face again. ]
Don't - don't. [ she says, sharp as she can manage. ]
no subject
Yin Yu's already leading them back. Zenitsu, now exuding a wave of calm rage, won't be cowed by her command.]
You're a good person, Beau. Let's go.
