Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place. Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck. |

[ He'll follow after. ]

[e says that in a COMPLETE DEADPAN but somehow still manages to sound like he's teasing]
no subject
[ Sounding equally deadpan while looking at Akira's hair. ]
no subject
They are very cute.
[opening the door to the arts and crafts cabin!]

It's also useful for hiding any wounds.
[ Or scars and uneven hair in his case. He's going to peek through the cabinets to pull out some crayons. Might as well doing something while they play twenty questions. ]
no subject
Don't say that in front of anyone else or you might get accused of murder.
no subject
[ Time to make postcards but probably not for any of the dead. ]
Do you like cats or dogs better?
no subject
[that answer comes easily!!]
But I like dogs plenty, too. Do you prefer tea or coffee?
[20 QUESTIONS, GO]
no subject
I suppose coffee. Where did you learn how to make curry?
no subject
[Akira's smile softens]
My guardian taught me. He runs a coffee and curry cafe. The recipe is his family secret.
. . . why did you join the mafia?
[oh. now we're getting serious]
cw; dazai
I officially joined the group because death was a daily part of life among the group. Fighting beside Chuuya made me see that I could observe it close to find some worth in living.
I'm surprised you haven't heard about it from Chuuya already. Why were you arrested before?
no subject
[he shakes his head, reaching for a crayon as well]
Your story is your story. I'm not going to ask for it from Chuuya when I can hear it from you myself.
[he keeps his expression even when answering the next part]
I tried to stop a drunk man from harassing a woman. He tripped and fell, and was injured in the process. He told the woman to lie about what had happened; she told the cops that I had attacked him, and they arrested me and charged me with assault. I was convicted.
[also now he is doodling on some construction paper]
Do you plan on staying with the mafia, or do you want a new life, too?
no subject
[ He's quiet for a moment as he considers both that he doesn't get the story from Chuuya and doesn't know the plans for the future. ]
Looks like you're telling the truth if you're asking about the future. While I am aware you have talked about me, it doesn't seem like it's anything beyond showing your disapproval of me.
I'm going with Chuuya to Reito's world. If we can't find a way there, then we're heading back to find a new path.
no subject
[no problem answering that even though Dazai didn't answer him first!!]
Mmm, no. We've talked about you a few times, and not all of it was bad. I'm just protective of him; you know that.
[looking up at Dazai again]
. . . but I'm happy to hear that.
[he thinks they both deserve something better than the shitty mafia]
no subject
[ Akira can at least can get they are communicating from this. ]
That also answers your question of my desire for getting a new life. I do want one, it's just a matter of when it can happen. Or if it can.
[ Considering their present situation... ]
no subject
It will.
[he sounds so determined]
We'll all make it out alive. Somehow. . . some way.
no subject
I feel like this group could pull something off in the end.
[ Pushes a crayon drawing of a cat with coffee over to Akira.
Time to get back to playing the game. ]
Do you have any regrets about any of the choices you've made?
no subject
. . . only one.
[does he even have to say what it is aloud]
But when it comes to everything else? No.
no subject
You should ask me something before I decide to go again.
no subject
[RIGHT, DON'T GET DISTRACTED. what number question are they even on?]
What's your favorite pastime?
cw: suicide
[ He's had someone say they didn't count before... ]
Which of your friends from your world do you miss the most?
no subject
The first one doesn't count.
[he'll count bothering Chuuya and video games, though]
And I miss them all pretty equally, but if you made me pick, then it'd be Morgana.
[BAG CAT 8(]
Do you still want to die as badly as you did in that memory I saw?
cw dazai/suicide
[ This is prejudice against suicide maniacs.
He doesn't think Akira could pick a person then, so that leaves... ]
That's that cat, right?
[ The next question does get him to pause. ]
Not as badly as before, no. I still think about it from time to time.
no subject
[IT'S NOT HEALTHY TO FANTASIZE ABOUT SUICIDE, DAZAI. he nods at the question about Mona being a cat, but doesn't verbally answer. if only because he's focusingo n Dazai's response to his own question]
. . . I'm glad. Is it because of Chuuya?
no subject
Chuuya may have helped with the reason. I came to find life was worth trying to live.
