Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place. Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck. |

[Sometime, anytime this week, Magnus is standing outside the mess hall. He waves cheerfully at you.]
Hey, friend! Did you do your tasks yet?
You wanna hit me? Go for it. It's completely fine!
woodworking
[Actually, wanted to address this one. He's in the woodworking cabin, working on a project most of the week! Wanna learn how to make a birdhouse? Or a chair, if you're ambitious?]
[Slapping his chest! Hit him!]
wildcard
[If you want literally anything else, go for it or hit me up on discord.]
task 4
[ Escha is weak and she knows it. ]

... I don't want to risk that.
no subject
[He looks bewildered.]
I really don't mind!
no subject
... I guess if this place took away my alchemy... It probably took away all of the alchemic traits on my staff, right?

[Without further ado, he then RAISES HIS HAND, READY TO STRIKE-]
[And slaps Magnus lightly on the shoulder.]
There we go!
[anaido, no,]

[Uh? He draws back, surprised. And just like him, Magnus should receive...something equally confusing. Playfulness, yes, that's genuine, but underneath is a worrying amount of anxiety and internal agony, simmering like a cup about to overflow.]
I'm...sorry?
no subject
[Smiling at him when he draws back. It's fine! Pretending things are good when they're actually bad is a valid coping mechanism.]
Just one of those weeks, am I right?

Oh, hey. Whatever happened to that little knickknack I asked ya for a few weeks ago?
no subject
[Listen I just forgot, okay. But Magnus didn't forget. He's got a very nice ashtray, and it's been varnished and finished.]
I just needed to get my hands on some good varnish!
no subject
Hot damn—ya weren't kiddin' about it being one of yer specialties. This is some real high-class work.
no subject
[He looks really please by the compliment!]
With that finish, it definitely won't burn even if you put out a cigarette in it.
task 4
As fun as that sounds, I'm not a big fan of touching for this week.
[ god. sucks. ]

[Considering - ]
What could work is if I told you a really funny joke, so we were both laughing, and then you punched me.
no subject
It could. Do you have a really funny joke?
no subject
[He does laugh at Dick's rudeness, though.]
Do you?

task 4
Oh, alright. Thank you. [That's all he'll say before he draws back his fist to try and punch Magnus in the face?? HE SAID IT WAS FINE]
Re: task 4
But. Giving him a thumbs up. Even though Yams will feel - sad and angry? But also, a little bit pleased that someone actually hit him.]
Nice one!
no subject
He smiles back, pleased at the praise, though he tilts his head right after. He has no filter whatsoever, so--]
What's wrong?
task 4
[She doesn't really want to hit him, but.
She'll. Weakly punch him?? A little?? She's not very good at brawling.]
no subject
[Doubling over in pain! But she'll be able to feel that he's joking.]
Holy shit! Go easy on me!

...that is impossible! I am far too strong to take it easy on anyone!
