Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place.

Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck.

[ 2/3rds of the chipmunks off to go hole up in their nest (?) and... ask each other questions. ]

[it sounds like a fun afternoon!!]

[and once they get there, Akira immediately climbs onto the top bunk and flops himself across it, hands linked underneath his head]

[ sitting on his own bed, yin yu moves to take his mask off and settle in properly. he glances up, and then, a little wryly: ]

Does that count? [ if so, then they asked two. ]

[a light laugh]

Probably not, but we can say it does if we want to. Nothing is stopping us.

Eighteen to go, then.

[ that gets a little smile from yin yu, too. ]

[HMMMM OKAY TIME TO THINK OF QUESTIONS]

What's your favorite think to eat?

Shui zhu yu. [ spicy. ] It's a dish from my homeland... it's quite spicy.

[ he tips his head. ] ...And chocolate, lately, as well. [ thanks for that, akira. ]

What is a skill you would like to master, someday?

[oh, hm. he has to think about the answer to that one, though he does so with a hum]

. . . playing billiards. I think I'm getting pretty good at it, but I'd like to be a master some day. A pool master.

[waggles his fingers at Yin Yu!]

What's the first thing you're going to do when you go home?

[ a little laugh. ] I'm not sure what that is, but I'm sure you would excel.

[ mm... when he gets home... that laugh changes to a sigh. he feels his brow twitch. ] ....Inevitably, catch up on the mass of work that I have left behind. Chengzhu will have many things for me to do.

[ he will be really. really. really glad to get back to it.

...mostly. there are a few things he will miss about this place, but few. ] What about you?

[Akira wrinkles his nose, because it takes a special kind of workaholic to admit they want to go home to finish the work they left behind. do something fun Yin Yu!!!]

Grab Luna by the waist, dip her backwards, and kiss her.

[his wants are so simple]

[ he's a workaholic yea.

anyway. at that, he blinks, and...

yin yu's face starts turning red, almost immediately. he glances to the side, suddenly not so able to make eye contact. ]

...I see. Luna...?

[I'm sorry Yin Yu he feels no shame]

Mmm. My girlfriend.

[he touches his pendant, smile soft]

I met her back at the mansion.

[ it's ok he has to transcribe love letters for his shameles boss sometimes.

...anyway. his cheeks stay pink as he looks back to akira again, eyes moving from the pendant back to his face. ] So she wasn't of your world?

But she's coming home with me whenever we get out of here. I invited her, and she said she'd come.

[ ...aw. that's very touching. ]

...Then, congratulations to you on that, Akira. [ with a little dip of his head, and a smile. ] I'm sure she will be thrilled to see you.

I hope so.

[. . . well, now he finds himself missing her. with a light cough, Akira clears his throat and moves on, a small spattering of pink appearing on his cheeks]

A-- anyway. Next question.

What's your favorite color?

[ haha. he doesn't laugh or anything, but there's just a faint amusement in his eyes as he looks back proper too, now not so embarrassed himself. ]

...black, and dark blue. [ how boring... he gives a little tug at his scarf. ]

Ah, let's see... are you a cat person, or a dog person?

Really? I almost thought you'd say jade green.

[he sure didn't call that one, but he doesn't seem too bothered by it]

A cat person, but dogs are just as good.

[he'll take any fluffy animal honestly, he just likes petting things]

[ that gets a huff of a laugh from him. ] It may be in my name, but I am no piece of jade.

[ jade is for rich and successful people!!!! who are not yin yu. he is a brick. :( and akira's answer gets a little nod of agreement, too - he's the same. ]
