Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations.

Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week.

If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies.

As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally.

After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place.

Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck.

No, no, no—that's not it! I'm sure you must be strong! Thing is, I'm not, so I'll just end up disappointing you if we were to train together . . .

You could never disappoint me, Zenitsu.

[...]

But if it would make you more comfortable to take a walk, we can do that... I did not wish to interrupt your plans, though.

[He blushes furiously at her claim.]

You, you aren't interrupting! I want to be with you, Flayn.

Where do you want to go?

[personal profile] fishingforcompliments 2020-07-12 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
Well - in that case...

[hmmm.]

Where is somewhere in camp you have wanted an excuse to spend more time? We can go there now.

[Hmm. He takes a moment to think, only to come up short, because he generally goes where he wants at a given moment.]

I don't really have a place like that.

What about you?

[personal profile] fishingforcompliments 2020-07-12 08:23 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... none in particular, but the garden is quite nice.

[personal profile] swordflash 2020-07-14 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
That's right! The gardens always look beautiful, especially under the moonlight, don't they? Let's go there, then. I'll pick the prettiest flower for you!

They do.

[aww, cute.

anyway, onward to the gardens!]

...of all the flowers here, which is your favorite, Zenitsu?

[personal profile] swordflash 2020-07-14 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
[Good question. He considers his answer for a moment.]

I think sunflowers are nice.

Sunflowers...

[she hums, thinking that over]

That makes sense. I think they suit you.

[It takes a moment for her answer to register before he goes red in the face.]

M-me?
fishingforcompliments: (008)

[personal profile] fishingforcompliments 2020-07-16 05:58 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, you!

[Is there anyone else here she could be referring to? Nope.]
swordflash: (131)

[personal profile] swordflash 2020-07-17 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
[Ahhhhh—]

Well, then I think jasmines suit you the most!
fishingforcompliments: (023)

[personal profile] fishingforcompliments 2020-07-17 01:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Jasmines? You think so?

[she looks a little surprised by that!]
swordflash: (073)

[personal profile] swordflash 2020-07-17 06:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Sure I do. You're friendly like the white jasmine and graceful like the yellow jasmine. You're really lovely!

[personal profile] fishingforcompliments 2020-07-18 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Oh! Well, that is certainly high praise. Thank you, Zenitsu.
