only a second passes before a familiar scene plays out before everybody's eyes. a gold thread winds itself not just around winter and shadows, but around all three of the directors. it ties them together, winter wizard's outfit gaining gold accents to match. as they're entwined, a new change takes place. instead of their scrunchies turning either gray or blue, they instead change to a soft golden color. meanwhile, the sequins on their scrunchies change to reflect the team they originally represented: purple for heart, gray for shadows, and blue for winter.
every camper will notice the same change, as well. should they check their own scrunchies, they will notice they have switched to a golden color with the sequins reflecting their original team. not only that, but the change will be visible to everyone around them. it seems like the time for keeping their affiliation a secret has passed.
winter sucks in a breath as all of this happens, observing the thread and the subsequent change in quiet amazement. it's only when everything is said and done that they exhale. they sound like they don't quite believe it when they next speak up.]
