POPULATION: 22 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and stretch your legs now that last week's effect has vanished. It looks like you have access to all that Camp Gatonina has to offer you. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Wen Ning manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Junpei will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Veronica doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's her week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of her, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. While the injuries you magically regained are now gone, it seems like the camp isn't done messing with your physical appearance. Upon waking up on Monday, everyone will notice that they have undergone a transformation. Perhaps you have gained animal features. Or, perhaps, you have transformed into a creature from mythology or fairy tales. Whatever the case, though your personality will remain the same, it seems like you're no longer the type of being you used to be — human or otherwise. You will not gain any enhanced senses or abilities from this, but... well. Good luck, everyone. It's creature transformation week.

[Do the bunnies attack him, too? Either way, he's going to try to gently scoop them up using his animal handling proficiency so they'll stop attacking Escha. If they bite and scratch him he doesn't really mind.

He follows Escha deeper into the cabin, pretty worried about what they're going to find.]

[She hits it with her crutch a few times as if that'll do anything, but when it becomes clear it isn't going to give... She's going to give the perimeter of the barrier a quick search to see if there's anything else out of place nearby.]

[The bunnies do not, in fact, attack Magnus! Actually, it looks like the mini lop and flemish giant are soothed by his presence. They calm down enough that they don't try to run after Escha, instead shivering and making distressed bun noises after he scoops them up.

Entering the cabin itself, they will both notice that the waiting room is absolutely wrecked. The lights are shattered and buzzing, the remains of the fluorescent tubes on the ground — along with some itty bitty items nearby. They will not be able to see what they are from here. The desk and chairs are upturned and scattered, damaged to varying degrees. The bulletin board is snapped in half. There are dents on the wall, along with what appear to be ice stakes impaled into them. There is blood splattered everywhere.

Though, uh. Escha and Magnus will want to be careful, because they will most likely slip on one of several patches of ice on the floor as they head in. Oops.

Either way, The kitten does not seem to be inside the waiting room. The cries can be heard from further down the hallway.]

[Natalie's crutch makes a funny boink sound as it bounces off the barrier, but that's about it! There is nothing else out of place nearby.]

[He can, in fact, get to that particular tree! Though, as he approaches it, he will notice that the hole that serves as a portal seems to be glowing... pink? Uh.]

[Well.

If she's looking around, she will notice there's something weird about the Blue, Purple and Gray cabins.]

she pulls herself to her feet to go investigate them. are the cabin doors open? don't tell me they have 3s (i can't even remember my own stupid lore) painted on them, been there done that ]

[Time to touch the glowing pink hole!

Be proud of me for not making that sound worse than it already does.]

[The doors are closed when she looks at them! However, the doors have changed from their usual color (blue, purple and gray respectively). The three doors are now pink; they faintly glow while she observes them.]

[ Okay, Escha would love to stop and examine all of this, really she would! But she's really set on finding that kitten. So with the bunnies handled by Magnus, she's navigating down the hall as carefully as she can, trying not to step in ice or blood or mess with things.

BUT WOW things are looking INCREASINGLY BAD, huh? ]

All this ice... And blood.

[ UGH. ]

[ gonna touch the doors. gonna put hands ALL OVER those doors. open up? ]

[Unfortunately (and perhaps unsurprisingly), he will not be able to touch the portal! There's another barrier wrapped around the tree and hole. His hand will boink right into it when he tries.]

[Yeah, that's to be expected. He'll make a mental note of those two places and remember them.

Are there any animals around? Or did they run off?]

[A barrier will prevent Beau from touching the doors! Or, like, even stepping past the cabin porches. Unfortunate.]

[No bears or wolves hanging out in his vicinity, no sir.]

[ and if that's everything - she turns to go back where she came from. got some preparing to do. ]

[Hmm. He's having a terrible day, between the hangover and the cold and the crying and the obvious fact that the NPCs have been murdered, but this is still one of the cutest things to ever happen to him? Giving each sweet bun a comforting little smooch.

Anyway, he'll also carefully walk on the ice, and he rolled a 12, so he'll wobble a bit but won't fall on his ass.

He'll try to make his way over to the itty bitty items on the ground to see what they are? Also, is there anything written on the bulletin board?

We all wanna get to the bodies but just checking.]
