Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and stretch your legs now that last week's effect has vanished. It looks like you have access to all that Camp Gatonina has to offer you. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Wen Ning manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Junpei will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Veronica doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's her week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of her, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. While the injuries you magically regained are now gone, it seems like the camp isn't done messing with your physical appearance. Upon waking up on Monday, everyone will notice that they have undergone a transformation. Perhaps you have gained animal features. Or, perhaps, you have transformed into a creature from mythology or fairy tales. Whatever the case, though your personality will remain the same, it seems like you're no longer the type of being you used to be — human or otherwise. You will not gain any enhanced senses or abilities from this, but... well. Good luck, everyone. It's creature transformation week. |

...but even though they've had their faces shown, he's wearing his hooded robe?
On closer inspection, the void illusion is still gone. Maybe the hood is just more comfortable to have, and he leaves it hanging over his face to shadow it naturally. It sits a little oddly on his head, though.]
I-is there anything I can do for you...? I'll try.
[His voice doesn't sound raspy or forced at all, today. Weird.]

MONDAY MORNING: A THING
2. A clamshell shaped device that perpetually displays what appears to be a dating profile.
3. A boarding pass. A new boarding pass, to be exact. Cursed islands don't exactly have profiles, you know?
Additionally, all the flowers in the memorial hall have been swapped out for fresh ones. The following additions have been made to this room:
2. A bouquet of purple hyacinth, lupine and black poppy has been placed by Dick's memorial.
3. Fresh bouquets of wildflowers, with talismans under them, have been left by each dead person's memorial.
4. Paper talismans, written in blood, are now plastered to all the empty display cases. Scorchmarks and small piles of white ashes sit on the floor next to these empty display cases.
And finally, one of the bows in the archery range now has blood on it. Uh. Yikes?]
pink task (i'll write a real toplevel later)
anyway, she heads into the arts and crafts cabin, spends a little while there, and then emerges with a piece of paper. then she heads for the woods, pinning the piece of paper to the trunk of a tree with a knife that looks like it came from the bus.
the paper has a crude crayon drawing on it, of a pink snake.]
You are the worst, and I hate you! That is how I truly feel!

[well. if you come walking up to lili at any point, even if it's just to sit across from her for some tea or lunch, she'll just. sigh and deadpan, as if expecting exactly what you're here for]
Alright, let's get it over with. Pink task since we all need it for the mission, right? I'd rather you tell me than Kara, anyway. You can go ahead and list my flaws, I've probably heard them all. I'm prepared to be blamed for this weekend, too.

[ Anyone walking in to the Director's Office will see a bunch of large, white fluffy tails. Looks like Dazai is once again a kitsune. His long white ears will turn towards anyone approaching, but he has his hands full at the moment pinning a flyer to the board. If anyone inspects they will see a drawing and the following words:
Missing Grandpa
Likes collecting food in his sleeves and complaining about his old age.
If found, return to Leopard Cabin.
There's also a few more papers with him that all have a similar drawing, but without anything written on them. Want to help him by writing something in? ]
II. Task 4 (Content Warning may be needed)
[ Dazai's tails are flicking as he reads the task board next. Looking at the tasks, before tapping the fourth one. ]
If anyone hates, despises or dislikes me or my hobbies, then go ahead and let me know.

[Now that she has both hands back, anyone who goes near the music hall is going to hear a variety of different songs coming from the piano. She doesn't look away from the instrument until whatever piece she's currently playing is done, completely focused on the song, but if she looks up and notices someone else:]

MOM SAID IT’S MY TURN TO INFODUMP - 1/??
Standing up on a table or something and whistling really loudly!]
Alright, I think it’s my turn to do one of these dumb information dump announcements, right?
Or, well, I’m electing myself for that duty. In the spirit of, uh, I guess either telling people how we really feel, or opening myself up to the hate or whatever, I can finally tell you guys some shit since we got fired and they forgot to get us to sign an NDA.
I had a role, I worked for Purple Heart, on the, um, Thieves team and we had to do a couple of, um, different tasks every week. Play darts for prizes, choose certain people to protect, and— well. Kill people?
Before you start stabbing me, understand we had no right choice here. There aren’t— There aren’t any right decisions about who you choose to kill. You just make a choice and hope you can live with it. If we chose not to kill, we’d would die instead - and someone else would probably still have to kill on top of that - and yet another someone would still have to face the vote and execution. If we were caught, we still wouldn’t have been able to explain, then another would replace us in our role and they’d be made to kill instead. It could have been anyone. It just happened to be us, who kept having to do it every week, over and fucking over. It isn’t as if— we relished it, or had a choice in the matter. I think I tried to explain that as well as I could, as many times as I could.
The weekend before last, I finished sniffing out the rest of the, well, Killing roles. And so I threw a little get-together, there was pizza, it was fun. Once we were all together, each of our teams didn’t have to kill a separate person. We fixed the body count, figured out everyone’s friggin’ team, and figured we’d get the other three non-murdery roles to join us. Hoped we could convince you guys to not seek out any dumb revenge plans - Gold Sequins Club - and concentrate on something other than murder solving. So to anyone who thinks we’ve been sitting with our thumbs up our asses, well. I wasn’t.
If you want to know who to blame me for, I’m . . . responsible for Giyuu, Zenitsu . . . and, like I said, Dimitri. Who, by the fucking way, fully agreed to try and work with us under the hope that you all would realize these trials are a fucking farce and solving them isn’t the point. That we should at least try to work together on a solution instead of chasing our tails in circles trying to feel good about a sense of justice or whatever.
I think we can still do that, but, yeesh, guys.
I won’t out the others, unless they want to. Anyway, if you want to take a go at me, verbally, you’re free to. If you want a, uh, physical go, please refer to my tank squad.
2/??
Relieved, honestly. She's holding onto something - two somethings? - small and postcard sized in her hands.]
...we were informed today that there are no further duties that will be required of us. I - I imagine that may be why we can speak on this matter, now.
[She takes a breath.]
I wanted to tell all of you. I was involved in... Yu's death, and in Sanji's, and in Dimitri's. I am the one who led him to his death. [...] I will not blame any of you for any anger you may feel toward me - I deserve it.
[Very, very quietly:]
But, please... know that we all want everyone here to escape this. That is what he wished, too.

Right at dusk on other days, however, he emerges, but not for very long. He's bundled up in a bunch of layers from the clothing shop, and the gray beanie now has slits cut in it to let through the very triangular, thin-membrane ears stretching up from the sides of his head.]

PINK TASK TL
45's going to slam the table or a wall or something and get everyone's attention. ]
Hey. Listen up! Glad we got all that out of the way, but we've still got a job to do. That is to say: pink task! Making this stupid snake real, because it won't exist until we stroke its ego enough and make it proud of itself for all this nonsense!
Anyway, I don't care who you do it with. Just go yell at someone you don't like and tell them exactly how you feel about them. You can even make it mutual and get task 1 done at the same time if you're being efficient!

FORGET ABOUT IT PARTY [TASK 1...???]
it reads: TASK 1, WEDNESDAY EVENING AFTER SUNSET, LOUNGE. PUT THINGS BEHIND YOU AND WORK TOGETHER TO KILL THE SNAKE. NO DRESS CODE. REFRESHMENTS PROVIDED. so, that sounds nice...???
if you DO end up going, there is a vast quantity of finger foods available—sandwiches with their crusts cut off, miniature quiches, cocktail sausages, fruit and vegetable trays... it gives you a pretty good idea of who's been at work, here.
...and a "pin the knife on the snake" game, with fabric scraps serving as blindfolds. instructions next to it read: KNIFE THE SNAKE: ONE PERSON PUTS THE BLINDFOLD ON, AND THE SECOND DIRECTS THEM TOWARDS THE SNAKE. WORK TOGETHER.
of course, the bar is open, too. hopefully this social function stays super chill and sober and does NOT devolve into a brawl or some kind of bottle-based kissing game!!!]

FRIDAY MORNING: A THING
Nine seconds will pass after the last note, and then... someone will begin to speak.
Once again, everyone will recognize this voice — though there's something strange about the tone itself. It is the voice of Wen Ning.]
Good morning, everyone… the time is currently, um, 7:03 a.m, and more snow is expected today. I hope the rude awakening was… equally expected.
[It is at this point that the voice shifts. It is now the voice of Junpei Tenmyouji.]
God you’re all so loud, aren’t you? It’s like all of you can’t go five minutes without some big dramatic outburst happening. But it’s been kind of funny to watch, right?
[Finally, the voice will change for a third time. It is now Veronica Sawyer's voice.]
... Did you say something? Oh. Right. "What about Wen Ning, Junpei and Veronica?" This isn't about them. Happy birth day to me!
[And with that, the announcement ends.
For the first time, it seems like something is wrong with the camp itself. The sky has taken on a pink hue. The snow glitters a bit too brightly. Please do not respond to this comment until the mods have said it is okay to do so. Thank you!]

CHARADES?????
Hey!! This is my public apology to Evan that I couldn't understand a single thing he gestured to me!
Someone who's talked with the ghosts before - what the hell does it mean if they do this - [extends all her fingers away from her palm] and then this? [she uses that hand to touch one of her legs, and then her opposite arm - and once she does so, she moves both limbs back and forth horizontally]
Like, what the hell? And something about a baby?
[what the FUCK is charades]
The only thing I even remotely got from him is that the directors aren't on the other side, those who are over there are safe, and Yin Yu sent me a message earlier in the week all their bands are gold.
Now the rest of you help me out and if they feel like sending an emergency ghost to elaborate, I recommend they do so soon.
