WEEK TWO: MINGLE
WEEK TWO | |
â˝ FULL NAVIGATION â˝ LOCATIONS â˝ STATUSES â˝ IC PROFILES â˝ IC RULEBOOK â˝ MURDER PROPOSALS â˝ PCS â˝ CURFEW â˝ AUDIENCES â˝ CAMP STORE â˝ REPORTING |
Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Winter Wizard manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Black Shadows will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Purple Heart doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. To further complicate matter, you will quickly discover that something about you has changed. At the start of the week, every single one of you will find yourselves aligned with one of four elements: fire, water, air or earth. Though your affiliation will not allow you to perform any outright elemental manipulation, you will find yourself reflecting your affiliation through one physical attribute. For example: A fire aligned may become hot to the touch, an earth aligned might discover their skin is now coarse like sandpaper, an air aligned might find their hair constantly flowing in an unfelt breeze, and a water aligned might be................. very sweaty. Whatever the case, this effect will fade away once Week 3 officially begins. |

i. task 1.
[ where there are cute animals, there is ookurikara.he doesnât mind just sitting with them and hanging out, but since thereâs a task anyway⌠when he spots you, he has a suggestion. ]
Weâre supposed to be feeding them.
ii. the glory days(?)
[ itâs subd week so obviously kara has to make it to the theater at some point. he lived up to the end, so none of this is new to him - but it also means if you want an explanation for this or that, he might be your guy.
whatever the case, if you look in at just the right moment, you might be just in time to see him lob a rock at a certain spiky redhead. ]
iii. memory lane.
[ are you visiting the village? good. do you want to see a sight you wouldnât anywhere else? look no further. kara is here, casually carrying a chicken wearing a miniature samurai helmet. you might recognize her from the chondo. he is also talking to her, and giving her gentle pats. ]
Youâre home, Kazakiri.
[ alternatively, find him in the kitchen pulling out a jar from the fridge. inside is a chocolate frog with a bright pink top hat. ]
...Youâre still here.
iv. if you canât take the heatâŚ
[ ...cook something else. kara doesnât mind the spice so much, but should anyone else need to escape the mess hall food, heâs out here cooking a bit more than usual. enter the kitchen, and heâll say: ]
Thereâs less spice in this. Have some, if youâre hungry.
[ itâs probably udon, but there is plenty to spare. itâs like heâs used to cooking for a small armyâŚ?
wildcard.
[ anything else! kara can be found hanging out in the village or the volcano, petting baby dragons in berk, riding a horse around the camp, or whatever your heart desires. hmu! ]
iv.
Ah, you're a life saver. I can't believe they wanted me to starve this week.
[ Says the teen who has been eating mostly junk food for most of his meals ]

I'm not sure, but there has to be food for it somewhere, if it's here at all.
no subject
Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll have little pictures of who the food's for on the sides. If, yeah, it's here at all.

That would be great. I'm having a hard time with all that spicy stuff...

If there's something else you'd like, let me know. I can cook that later.
no subject
That's nice of you - I've been trying to cook for myself unless I'm feeling lazy. So it's kind of nice to eat something handmade by someone else.

They won't hurt you. There's no need to be scared.
