POPULATION: 36 Rise and shine, Camp Gatonina. With yesterday's announcement weighting on your mind, you are left to your own devices for the entirety of the morning. The 7:00 AM bugle call will announce breakfast as usual, and those who still manage to retain an appetite under the current circumstances are free to make their way over to the mess hall in order to grab a bite. It is not until 12:00 PM that something changes. Coming as a surprise to none, given your past experiences, your body will move of its own accord towards the Mess Hall. You are powerless to resist. The Mess Hall doors will lock once everyone is inside, and for some reason — your vision will momentarily blur before everything snaps back into focus. Winter Wizard, Purple Heart and Black Shadows will be seated at a table by the enclosed bulletin board. Their bunnies will be beside them, dressed impeccably. They share a look, visibly uncomfortable, before they rise from their seats. "So it seems one of your own has been killed. Now's the time to work together and find the responsible party." "Nine hours remain to discuss and locate. Still have time." "We'll help you as much as we can from our end, too, so... Good luck." Well, you know the drill by now. - - - Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! We'll go over a few notes briefly as we will be playing this trial a bit differently than other games. While there was a mini-investigation on Friday, today is the day participants can really dive in to investigate areas in the game setting, check over the body and review evidence that they find! Please see the toplevels in this post for more information. To help with the ease of the trial and for IC mechanics, only one location may be visited at a time. One of your NPCs will also be accompanying you on these visits. Most importantly, before the trial is over, please place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. Please also be sure to read the voting page carefully.

i mean, top half, collar bones, arms, basically anywhere visible with no shirt at first! ]

anyway his top half might be littered with bruises because fight club, but most of them are old and fading. the only thing that stands out is a new bruise blossoming into a dark purple on his left arm, but you could almost miss it under the tattoo.

oh but also - the necklace he usually wears, and never removes for these checks, is gone.

[ isn't it a good thing that this is yin yu's like third time doing the strip check and he notices things...first, pointing to his left arm. ] That looks fresh. What happened here?

[ sure, sure, he'll do that. it's more of the same - old bruises, mostly on their way to healing. ]

Thank you, sir. If you wouldn't mind, I'll check your hands and your hair, and we can move on.

[ he dutifully removes his gloves and offers his hands to yin yu for inspection. the nails might have some dirt underneath, but that's normal for him, outside of the kitchen.

and his hair is just your typical, two-toned mullet, clean and soft. enjoy. ]

[ fantastic.

he gives a polite bow, fist to hand. ] Thank you. That's all on my end.

[ there we go. his turn, though! dutifully, yin yu pulls off his mask, and begins undoing his stupid layers of ancient china clothes, like last week, he has scratches on his face, though they're much less angry and have scabbed over fairly nicely. yin yu is in the kind of shape you would expect for a martial arts master--he's not kara but you know-- very pale, and has no visible bruises, scratches, or any other sign of injury on his body anywhere else. the only thing of note is the tattoo around his left wrist, the same as the one seen here here. ]

[ redressing, then, as yin yu undresses.

so. no injuries, except the ones from the previous break-in. that's fine. ]

Hands. And lean down, so I can check your hair afterward.

Of course.

[ he offers his hands to be checked! there's a bit of dirt underneath his fingernails, but nothing unnatural, and his palms and the top of his hands are otherwise clean. the area around his tattoo, too!

reaching up, he undoes his hair, pulling out the scrunchie and moving it to his wrist, then leans down and offers him his hair. it's nice and silky and soft and there's nothing abnormal in it. ]

[ kara accepts this, and will allow yin yu to straighten. ]

Feet, too. Just to cover everything.

[ that's fine! give him a moment.

his plain white soled boots have some hay in them, presumably from the petting zoo, and some standard dirt. his feet are clean! nothing weird going on here. ]

[ everything was dates and cuteness this week, no break ins or injuries required.

he nods, moving to get dressed, and pauses as he's putting his waist belt back on. ] Are you the one who's been teaching Lady Lili to throw a punch?
