POPULATION: 36 Rise and shine, Camp Gatonina. With yesterday's announcement weighting on your mind, you are left to your own devices for the entirety of the morning. The 7:00 AM bugle call will announce breakfast as usual, and those who still manage to retain an appetite under the current circumstances are free to make their way over to the mess hall in order to grab a bite. It is not until 12:00 PM that something changes. Coming as a surprise to none, given your past experiences, your body will move of its own accord towards the Mess Hall. You are powerless to resist. The Mess Hall doors will lock once everyone is inside, and for some reason — your vision will momentarily blur before everything snaps back into focus. Winter Wizard, Purple Heart and Black Shadows will be seated at a table by the enclosed bulletin board. Their bunnies will be beside them, dressed impeccably. They share a look, visibly uncomfortable, before they rise from their seats. "So it seems one of your own has been killed. Now's the time to work together and find the responsible party." "Nine hours remain to discuss and locate. Still have time." "We'll help you as much as we can from our end, too, so... Good luck." Well, you know the drill by now. - - - Hello, everyone, and welcome to the third trial! We'll go over a few notes briefly as we will be playing this trial a bit differently than other games. While there was a mini-investigation on Friday, today is the day participants can really dive in to investigate areas in the game setting, check over the body and review evidence that they find! Please see the toplevels in this post for more information. To help with the ease of the trial and for IC mechanics, only one location may be visited at a time. One of your NPCs will also be accompanying you on these visits. Most importantly, before the trial is over, please place your character's vote over on the voting page. Voting will close at 9pm EST/6pm PST, and will serve as our activity check for the week, so please be sure you get your vote in before it ends unless you have contacted us previously. Please also be sure to read the voting page carefully.

[but otherwise Akira easily tugs off his shirt and pants, ooooh aaaah. he has the same bruises he had in previous trials, though they are all really faded by now, and some fresher ones that seem to be a few days old (like, Tuesday days old) on his arms and ribs again. he also has some REALLY fresh ones on his shoulders and hips which can be attributed to lack of depth perception please spare him]

[in his pockets or on his person are: the birdcage pendant, a whistle, his chipmunk keys, emergency rope bracelet around his wrist, a dagger at his waist, three vouchers, and some chapstick]

[he also is carrying a drawstring backpack with him today! it his dried blood on it, haha (anyone who saw him in the body pile or yesterday would have seen the dried blood on the backpack) and he unloads it easily to reveal: his travel guide, some sunscreen, some bug spray, some fishing line, a cute stuffed animal, a pen (!!!!), a tube of lipstick (??), and three boxes of crayons (scented, normal and twistable)]

[ yin yu nods--he can't see it currently, since he is masked to help their shyer group members not feel as nervous about looking at a person, but he looks a little sympathetic to what he can assume are only those bumping bruises. losing an eye must be terrible, huh. ]

Perhaps we should invest in padding the corners of the cabin. [ genuinely but also maybe just a little teasing....

[nothing abnormal to find under his fingernails or on his feet!! nothing abnormal in his hair either, and when Phoenix gives it a ruffle he ducks a bit in a fond huff]

[nope!! it is just a normal dagger. he cleaned it to the best of his ability but there are probably some leftover blood oils on the blade, but if Belph saw him in the body pile on Thursday morning he could have seen the dagger at Akira's waist all covered in blood. haha!]
