POPULATION: 35 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Black Shadows manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Purple Heart will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Winter Wizard doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. Speaking of walking down memory lane, it seems the theater and the portal aren't the only places to relive some fond memories... or revisit ones that are better left in the past. Yes, it's memshare week. It doesn't matter if you cover yourself up from head to toe, or pirouette away from anyone who might make physical contact with you. Simple proximity OR eye contact is enough to get the ball rolling. As soon as this simple condition is met, you will find yourself reliving the other party's memories from their point of view. These memories can either be canon memories, or memories from the game they were previously in. Regardless of what the case may be, this effect will last until Week 4 officially begins. [ he brightens! as though she has gotten this correct, and they are one step closer to freedom!

No, but I would like that as well. I wrote horseback riding with tea served afterward.

[ but they're getting closer, and that is what counts :) there is also more wine being served, now. why are there so many wine varieties? do they have to taste them all? ]

[ she still has no idea if they are supposed to finish a glass before moving onto the next one? she will drink the rest of the current one, just in case, to be a proper wine taster. ]

Alright. When it comes to shoes, would you say your wife prefers heels, flats, sandals, or sneakers?

[ he samples a few, and they're all—weirdly strong? but his expression doesn't seem to change between them. it's all whatever. even as the resident rich dude, this is a silly hobby. ]

he lifts his glass to her for a celebratory clink. ]

Wonderful! We're getting along better already.

[ he takes a second to flip through to another random page of their game questions. as for their other 'task'... ]

How are you liking the wine?

It's pretty good. But it seems a little...

[ she picks up another glass to take an experimental sip. and then nods. ]

Am I imagining it, but are all of these really strong?

[ she is pretty sure she isn't this much of a lightweight?? ]

I hadn't really noticed, but you may be right. [ he tries from a different glass, white wine this time. chilled. does it matter? they're all very strong, even the sweet ones. ] Though truthfully it all tastes the same to me.

[ his ears are going a little pink by now, though. ]

There's quite a lot left to get through...

Yeah, they just... bringing them out, huh...

she'll shake her head. okay! back to business! ]

[ they can rattle off questions faster than the wine is served! it's fine. he idly spins one wine glass by its stem as he reads off the next one. ]

I think that should count as a half-point—you know me better than I know myself. I think my only attempt at 'flirting' was... how should I put it? Completely disastrous?

but stephanie just blinks. in surprise? she momentarily forgot that memshares are happening and... sadly, she has had enough to drink that she is just laughing at what she just saw. ]

dimitri, meanwhile, is tipsy enough to cringe at himself and blurt out, ]

[ he's suddenly grateful the wine is stupid strong, because at least he can blame any blush on that and not MORTIFYING EMBARRASSMENT ]

steph looks through the questions, popping another cheese square into her mouth. it really does go well with wine. ]

What are the two pieces of jewelry that you will always find your wife wearing?

[ between the wine and the picnic and the getting to know each other, this wouldn't be a bad date for an actual couple. too bad i am not a homewrecker ]

...A necklace? [ it takes him a second to think of literally any other jewelry. that wine sure is something. ] A ring, perhaps?

but steph laughs again, shaking her head. yeah, all the wine is definitely hitting, and she's just taking a new glass of it. ]

I attend a... military academy, I suppose you could call it. Our subjects are based more on tactics and warfare.

We are at 1.5 of 3? That is nearly a passing grade. [ GETTING THERE... ] I give thanks to sneakers.

[ she will give a toast to her sneakers! and then take another drink. stephanie is definitely a lot more giggle than she normally is at the moment, and that is fine. ]

Alright, let's see... If the two of you were pregnant, who are the two people your wife would want to tell first?

[ hm. her smile turns into a slight frown, but she still looks at dimitri expectantly. yes, husband? ]
