POPULATION: 29 Rise and shine, everyone! At 7:00 AM on the dot, those who are asleep will be roused from their slumber by the sound of a bugle call. It seems that breakfast is now served in the Mess Hall. How nice! It's up to you to decide if you want to continue sleeping or not... But maybe it's a good idea to grab a bite and explore your surroundings. After all, it seems the fog has receded enough to reveal a few new locations. Regardless of what you do, be sure to check the weather before stepping outside. You never know when you might need an umbrella! Once you're up and at them, though, there are a few points of interest this week. If you swing by the Director's Office, you will find Purple Heart manning the receptionist's desk or flitting in and out of the rooms down the hallway. This week's tasks are now available, and you can check them out on the announcement board in the waiting room. Should you visit the Camp Shop, Winter Wizard will be handling all transactions at the checkout counter. Even camp directors hold down normal jobs, you know. Strangely enough, Black Shadows doesn't seem to be stationed at any set location. Maybe it's their week off? Oh, well. Seems like if you want to get ahold of them, you'll have to pay your respects to the bunnies. As you explore the camp, however... You may find yourself confronted by scenes from a not so distant past. Or, perhaps, the so-called-movies playing on the big screen are completely foreign to you. But that's not all you will have to deal with this week. Continue skimming the edges of the forest, and you will find yourself going down memory lane. Literally. After the events of last week, perhaps you yearn for privacy. Unfortunately, it seems that though your past will no longer be put on blast, your feelings will be made known to those around you instead. Should you come into physical contact with somebody else, you immediately become aware of whatever emotion they are feeling and vice versa. The feeling will linger for five seconds after physical contact has been broken, at which point it will fade. But the knowledge will remain with you. And even worse, it doesn't necessarily have to be skin-to-skin contact like in your first week. As long as you are physically touching them, that will be enough for the effect to take place. Whether you want to or not, it seems like this is the week to wear your heart on your sleeve. Good luck.

the crab on his stomach raves onwards, its tiny feeties digging somewhat uncomfortably into his chest. he sits up partially, frowning at it.]

[the crab acknowledges him briefly—but immediately returns to the party dance.]

[STOP HE JUST SAW THEM AND WAS FILLED WITH FONDNESS AND WANTED TO BRING THEM HOME!!!

Or to Asch, apparently. He puts another couple of crabs down so they can join the dance party.]

Why is it that they dance like this?

No idea. Probably a part of their biological... something.

he places his stomach crab to the side, and sits up.]

Maybe they're trying to attract a mate.

They should find another way, then, since this clearly isn't working. All it's doing is attracting more dancing crabs.

[He'll set a few more down, and they immediately start crowding over to where Asch is and join their fellow dancing brethren. They are forming a circle. It's probably fine.]

It's cute, though! I like them.

Maybe they have gendered dances. Only a scientist would know.

[he's just. glowering at them.]

If you like them so much, you should keep one as a pet. Anaido has one. They could dance together.

[ONLY A SCIENTIST WOULD KNOW?? He laughs because he truly cannot help it. The crabs, meanwhile, continue their jiving. Some crabs in his arms long to join their raving friends, so he just squats down and lets them all free except for a few.]

Ah - true, true! Do you think they would get along? I wonder... All of these crabs seem to be good comrades, at least!

I see no reason why they would not. They certainly seem to get along with everyone else.

[he is now. completely surrounded.]

[The crabs hail their new favorite rave centerpiece, Asch. Wei Wuxian just blinks, head tilting to the side.]

Mm? Am I doing what on purpose? All I'm doing is setting these little fellows free, so they can dance to their heart's content!

he picks up some sand, and experimentally starts pouring it on to a raving crab.]

[The rave crab continues to rave under the sand shower, though it pauses to brush some of it away with its little raving claws...]

I was considering it, mmhm! It's been a long time since I've been able to swim, even though we keep ending up near water. [The demon ocean was cursed, the lake is cursed, life is cursed.]

Probably. Once the sun gets too much.

[he sits up totally, crosslegged.]

I figured it was worth relaxing before I get... stabbed, or something. Or lose an arm. [beat;] Again.

[Meanwhile, We Wuxian plonks down, sitting with Asch in the sand.]

Ah - again? [WHAT IS IT WITH YOU PEOPLE AND LIMB LOSS. Anyway being who he is, he doesn't think it's a bad idea to think that way, even if it is certainly grim.]

Well, hope for the best and prepare for the worst, isn't that so? Though I do hope you don't get stabbed or lose any limbs any time soon!

I didn't realize it was quite so common for people to lose them, to be honest? Somehow we made it through our world without anything like that happening.
